We don't know what Harden is telling the front office.... does he need to be more demonstrative on Twitter?

Nobody is going to touch that super-max contract for a #2/3 player.

Every time a teammate misses an open shot, Harden must look straight into the nearest camera and yell: "MORRRAYYYYYYYY!!!!"

What makes anyone think Harden doesn't communicate with the FO often? It's fans who don't have that access and opportunity. I honestly think it's ridiculous to assume he doesnt check in or is updated regularly. I'm sure Harden is looking on the bright side of all of this. If it weren't for injuries he wouldn't be putting up WILT CHAMBERLAIN numbers. He might be MVP again due to SINGLE handedly bringing the Rockets into playoff contention. Get worried if the Rockets dont have help for him in the playoffs.

It boils down to consistent help. PJ Tucker needs to have a meeting with the rest of the supporting cast and put in some extra hours in the gym. Harden has the potential to be one of the greatest of all time and deserves rings and I couldn't be more thrilled he reps H-town BUT he needs his shooters to make the open threes. Granted, Paul and Cappella are integral for our success the supporting cast MUST hit those open threes if they want to beat GSW. I'm looking at Tucker, Ennis, Rivers, and Clark. Gerald and Eric keep doing you. Help would be nice too.....

He is no Lebron, so I guess Morey should self reflect.

    Just relax and take notes.

@BobbyMarks42: Since the summer, Houston has made three separate trades that saw $4.66M sent out in cash. The total luxury tax savings from those three transactions is $9.17M. Houston also saved $5.78M towards the luxury tax in the Ryan Anderson trade.

When Harden starts demanding things from the front office, that's when we should expect to start seeing threads like "I wouldn't blame James if he demanded a trade".

I had to look up what "demonstrative" could mean in basketball context.

    adjective
    adjective: demonstrative
    1. 1.
(of a person) tending to show feelings, especially of affection, openly.

Too bad no team is dumb enough to take on that massive contract esp at his age he's not getting moved

Well, last season the winning percentage when CP, Harden and Capela all started, was over 90%
NINETY PERCENT! NO other team in the league won at that pace
    INCLUDING Golden State.

Some of the people panicking think we have our full team and we're tanking.
Truth is, 40% of our starting unit is currently unable to play.
Even then, we were cruising along at 10-2 before Clint went down, without CP

****NOTICE: OUR CURRENT TEAM IS NOT OUR REAL TEAM

What rational GM would breakup a trio that wins at a 90% rate?
That's absurd. And THAT's where most of our money is tied up.
They'll be back. And so will our swagger.
Clint's injury was a freak accident. Nothing more

People want Morey fired, MDA fired, Tilman to spend more, blah, blah, blah
Clean house, get rid of everybody just because we have a couple of injuries to major pieces.
Not even season ending injuries. CP is back very soon. Clint will be
a few more weeks. We'll just have to weather the storm and try and keep ourselves in the hunt

Just gotta hold the line until help arrives

Good draft considerations maybe, ours are among the worst in the league. There aren't many who are desperate enough for savings to not get anything back for good players. The Heat or Hornets maybe? A good test would be to check other teams' boards and look at how many are suggesting trades with the Rockets. I doubt you'll find much cause nobody wants our crap.

No, because everyone knows that's not possible.
