I wouldn’t blame James if he demanded a trade

who knows if he could or not but we do know Pop's system is all about motion. An aspect of the game, harden has become the opposite of.

Is harden best utilized as a less iso heavy player and move without the ball or the current mvp player hes become. Your preference

Yea no other team could surround him with the likes of michael carter williams, james ennis and marques chriss. Harden would never be a superstar anywhere else

So this year negates the last 6? It has obviously been tough this year but injuries happen. Take the second and third best players off any roster for a month plus and they will struggle. Fully healthy, the Rockets are fighting for the first seed. Everybody needs to chill out.

Are you kidding ? We had one season where the team was legitimately stacked and even then we were forced to play an 8 man rotation. This is not new

I'm glad Harden is about the team and not about himself like past superstars and fake superstars we had in the past.

Shoot, I would blame him if he were stupid enough to jump off the throne. So would 99% of this board, who so far has blamed him for everything right?

Is this a Houston thing or what? People shamelessly antagonize super stars and then say “they don’t deserve this team we should trade them”. Andre Johnson. JJ Watt. Now Harden. Give it a year, Hopkins will be “above” this town and everyone will have forgotten 300 L’s in 3 seasons lamenting Altuve, springer and Correa still being here.

James Harden isn’t even 30 and he’s halfway to being a billionaire. I will point out stupid people’s opinion on the man’s game but I don’t feel bad for him even a Little bit.

Disagree, we made WCF with Dwight also. That team was stacked as well. Freak injuries just ended up zapping that team.

Terrence Jones was very good until his nerve issue.

DMo was a legit post threat before his back injury.

Bev got hurt and we had to start Jason Terry.

Dwight wasn’t even 100% he tweaked his knee in game 1. We had a legit shot that year if healthy.

This. Morey should have paid for his Ryno mistake last year and instead we carried that anchor and are still carrying it now. To me this is his last chance. You cannot make a comparison now when less than a week ago more than $80M of our cap was out of commission and most of it still is. Harden cares about the team he has in May and it just trying to buy time. He needs a late Christmas present or two in the next couple of weeks.

You're an idiot if you think Harden will demand a trade. He loves being the man here.

This trade machine is terrible - it predicts we will only lose 4 more games without Harden. Haha haha

Fair enough that was a hell of a team. Too bad we had an imbecile for a coach.
Its season like this year tho where it seems they are just half assing it and giving him the bare minimum. Like we apparently had 4 picks to give up and just stopped offering any of them after the butler trade? We had the full mle and didnt use it in the offseason? As bad as he is, we are over the cap and didnt match arizas contract?

This has to be Tillman. Morey has never operated like this in the past. If your owner doesn’t want to pay tax there is not much you can really do as a gm.

Hindsight 20/20 they shoulda used MLE on Brook Lopez

You can tell who all the football fans are who don't understand how the NBA salary cap and CBA works.

Harden will be around for a few years but if he isn’t any closer to winning a ring he could demand a trade
