The Native Americans yelled zero racist rhetoric at the kids. The kids were engaging with the Hebrews group and tensions were high. Phillips, as proved in the video you recommended, calmed things down and diffused the situation. When the Native Americans went over there, they were mocked by the kids. The main kid didn't really do anything wrong. The other kids absolutely did.
Nope, in no way, whatsoever, have I admitted I support racism. Do you really believe a Native American telling teens who are using racist gestures and making fun of Native Americans to go back to Europe is racist? What a joke. It doesn't surprise me that you would try and paint it that way. You have no choice in order to hold on to your defense.
If you watched the videos then this is an outright lie. The native group attempted to incite the group of children by yelling racist rhetoric and pushing through the middle of the group banging drums in their faces. If he had gone up to a group of black children banging drums in their faces and yelling "go back to Africa" I have a feeling you'd have a completely different opinion.....and that's why your opinion is invalid.
The children did nothing racist, so yeah, yelling racist rhetoric at them is racist. Again, let's just end this here because I don't acknowledge your opinion as being valid in any way. You are grasping at straws to defend the indefensible and it won't go anywhere positive.
Just say "I agree with anything that happened to the children because I don't agree with their politics" if that's what you mean. There's no reason to lie.
Phillips did walk up to the group he didn't push through anyone. He walked up to them playing a traditional song of love and peace. He stood there, sang and played the drum. The Kids made several racial mockeries of the Native Americans and one of the Native Americans that wasn't Phillips told them to go back to Europe which isn't Racist.
He walked up to them and pushed his way to the middle of the group. Video evidence confirms this. Don't lie. Yelling at people to "go back to ____" on the basis of their skin color is racist....again don't lie you just lose credibility when put pull nonsense like that. Just say " I don't agree with the children's politics to **** them" at least then you wouldn't be a liar like Phillips. Ah so the tomahawk chop is racist, but yelling at people to "Go back to _____" on the basis of their skin color isn't racist. You are doing a really good job tonight. Keep it up. Look, it's practically a Klan rally!!!
This only shows that you have very little understanding. The kids weren't at a sporting event where they had a Native American mascot (thought that is certainly racist on a level as well. They were making the gesture for the express purpose of mocking people of Native American heritage. You can't brush that off but pretend that I lose credibility. If this is your new and improved style of debate, I'll put you on ignore. There is no need to engage with that.
They were mocking someone who was trying to dick with them in tandem with a literal racist hate group and join them in yelling racist nonsense at them. Clearly you think racism directed at those children is acceptable and that makes you inherently a bad person so I would fully support you putting me on ignore. Someone like yourself doesn't belong in rational conversations about issues like this. You can be a liar if you like, but you'd be clutching your pearls right now if the group of children were black and the native group said "Go back to Africa" instead of Europe. Your embrace of racism due to tribalism is unacceptable to me and you'll just have to deal with that. Be a better person or put me on ignore, I honestly don't care which you pick.
I've been puzzled by the tomahawk chop accusations . . . I've watched several of the videos now, I don't see much of anything that resembles a tomahawk chop. For a very short period of time there's a bunch of high school kids waving their arms every which way in unison with the drum beating, but those movements seem to stop pretty soon after they begin. I don't interpret those hand-waving movements as "mocking" or "disrespectful" necessarily. So I'm just not sure how much heavy lifting the tomahawk chop criticism can do. And any person at any time can have a freeze frame photo taken that puts him in a bad light--Nazi salute, tomahawk chop, nose-picking, whatever. So still photos of the putative tomahawk chop motions are unconvincing.
Probably for the best, becoming a better person might be something you'd struggle with given your support of racism.
Honestly that goes for any of the rest of you, if you support racism then do everyone a favor and put me on ignore. I'll save you the guesswork, if you support racism for any reason, I consider you a terrible person that is unworthy of the privilege of discussing issues with me. By banishing yourself, you make the D&D a better place.
Numerous individuals are using Twitter to dox, advocate harm, and place kill bounties on these kids. Twitter has done nothing.
You project so much my dude. It's you, you're the one whose position changes based on the group, no one else. Ch'ville Rally you blamed Antifa for...despite in this very thread saying racist people should get beat up. I guess the "JEWS WILL NOT REPLACE US" weren't racist huh? Either that or you're just fine with racism as long as it's not directed at whites. It's sad that you begged to return to this forum just to dishonestly argue people. You've called everyone in this thread that disagrees with you a racist lol.
Except they did know, according to snopes there was a thread that the students participated in and one student commented how the student on the right definitely looks like he researched black minstrel shows based on the way he left white space around his mouth to make the big lipped wide grin strongly associated with the racist shows of blackface.
