    People have been complaining about getting a worthy backup 5. You get faried who’s still under 30 and Capable of big minutes who fits the system and somehow he doesn’t have positive impact?

    Amazing. Must be the same people that thought melo and mcw were going to be any good.

    The bar is to be better than Chriss or Hartenstein. If he can catch lobs and not foul out in 5 minutes, he'll be doing OK.

    Compared to Hartenstein? You bet your ass he'll be an upgrade.

    And Nene cannot play back to backs or more than 20 minutes every other game. Improvement right there.

    Faried WAS overpaid, but an still play ...a solid rotation player....at a position of need..@ minimum.

    We need someone to play back up center or center (with Capela out). Chriss and Harenstein are garbage and Nene is too old to play heavy mins. If this signing pays off Morey is a champ at finding players that can contribute (Rivers, House) during the season.

    I have faith if Faried is competent with the basics, James will make him look great.

    All he needs to do on offense is set good screens and run to the rim for a lob opportunity.

    All he needs to do on defense is not commit silly fouls and hustle for rebounds and 50/50 balls.

    Harden is going to make him look like a stud.
