    Rivers didn’t score a lot but played solid defense throughout the game.

    I will say MDA gave Harden rest in the 3rd and 4th quarter when the Rockets were down 6-8pts. I have no doubt Harden wouldn't have been able to close the game without rest. Also, MDA put in Nene in OT to match up with Zubac. And Nene played well to get him in foul trouble.

    That was one of Hardens best all round games I have seen him play, offense, defense, leadership, and unselfishness He did well in every department.

    Did you all see how he didn't try to get the ball to get his 50 points? I kept urging him to go get it, but he just played decoy. Was really impressed by that

    people giving Gordon all the credit for sending it in to overtime.....Harden hit 8 points in the last minute to give him that chance

    D’Antoni was garbage all night, but one example stands out. Zubac was on the line late in the 4th and the Rockets were down 2. If he would have missed the free throw and the Lakers get the offensive rebound, the game is likely over. So the Rockets needed to secure any potential board. How many big men were in uniform tonight? At least 2, Nene and Chriss (iHart maybe but I didn’t see him). How many big man did D’Antoni have on the court and/or insert for the potential key offensive rebound?


    Zero, nada, zilch. Not ONE player of 6’7. That is PISS poor coaching. Just because the Lakers were too stupid to take advantage of it doesn’t make it any better. That a basic coaching mistake and it’s not the type of mistake teams with championship hopes should make. Remember Pop cost the Spurs a ring in 2014 doing the same crap D’Antoni pulled. It’s just an unacceptable coaching call.

    Right now James Harden is averaging 35.7 points a game this season.

    Only two players have ever had a higher average.

    Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan (once).

    That would be 0.
    He got run out of NY because he had no real superstar (Melo wouldn't run his triangle much like he did to MDA).
    Of COURSE you ride your stallion to the finish line.

    You can't tell me that Coach's halftime adjustments had nothing to do with the outcome?
    We immediately started chipping away at the lead when the half started.

    Can't play Chriss, Harenstein is too clumsy/slow. MDA played what he could and he was smart to rest Harden valuable mins. Basically if you have someone great as Harden, he literally takes over the game, all the planning goes out the window. We got the win, MDA did subs out player to counter what the other coach was doing.

    I hear you. I'm just busting chops for shiits and giggles!

    In reality this game does 2 things for me:
    1. Gives me an extra spring in my step for the 3 day weekend
    2. Helps erase the pain of the loss to the Nets!

    Man, harden was guarding the post, grabbing offensive rebounds, taking hard fouls, hope people will remember this game when he has a bad game later.
