Kenneth Faried to sign with Rockets

it needs to speed up the process. our center does not know how to grab rebounds. We lose a lot of offense chances. Morey please decide to cut melo or annully quickly. we will drop out of 8 soon

 

Houston is lucky today, if it is not Pope injury. We have high chances to lose. We need a center to grab rebounds

I see Faried as the guy replacing Nene long-term, since I can see Faried wanting to stay in Houston for awhile. He's 7 years younger than Nene so we might have a solid long-term answer for backup PF/C.

 

Like him already. If faried played tonight. It be a blowout

did the nets waive or buy him out today? do we have any confirmation he'll be suited up against philly on monday?

 

I am excited for this signing. Value deal for us for this season. We can look to signing him as a backup C/F if he does well here.

At least this dude can rebound it's not like we have anybody down in the paint besides capela who can block shots anyway. I'm so tired of getting destroyed on the boards

 

tucker has a back up now,great. he was in foul trouble earlier and i was literally praying those refs wont go full r****d on him.

 

i guess as im not as excited about this as you guys are.... i just dont see him helping that much. sure, i guess the rockets could still win some games, but that still mainly just about the greatness of harden. he is bailing this front office out with every victory. they have largely failed him and the fanbase (even though the city of houston doesnt seem to care much about the rockets no matter how good they are.)

i hope im wrong, but i just dont see it.

 

Daryl has been hard on this guy for a while, and I believe he is going to be a driving force along side James Harden. He’s going to be the ultimate replacement until Clint gets back.

 

I want to see him playing WITH Capela some too

Best case scenario is that he plays like Montreal Harrell did for us when he was here.

Harrell had several 30 point games due to setups from harden and effort on the offensive glass .

 

To be fair, rebounding was never his strongest point. But he is far more physical than anyone we have active right now. Sure beats having Ennis starting at C!!

 

I really hope he plays well for us. I really hope it’s not a situation where it would have been nice 3 years ago but nothing comes from it now a la Brandon Wright.

We probably won’t see this line-up but a CP3/HARDEN/ENNIS/FARIED/NENE is a tough tough 5 to have on the floor.

 

It was 56 to 39 in that department tonight Absolutely killed on the backboard. That’s why it’s so hard for this team to win.
