If I'm Harden, I'm not calling for screens anymore .All that comes of it is him being doubled and not being able to operate.

Also, since the defense is giving him the right side, he shouldn't cross the half court line and start drifting towards the right. What this does is allow the defense to trap Harden easier. What he should do is drift towards the left side of the court when he crosses the half court line so they hedge him towards the top of the 3 pt line where it's more difficult to trap him.

 

I honestly haven’t seen MDA be that passionate all season. I take it back, I have, but when he’s going off on young players individually, never in a huddle like that

 

No one should defend Morey's decision to not pay House and to pick up Mr. Nunn for 4 from the 3 point line.

Sure. I meant that our offense is about shooting good 3s....or bad ones. Not just Harden. Rivers has shot several 1on1s 3s with no ball movement that are bad 3s for anybody but Harden. Same with Gordon. Green. Those nonsense shots can go in when the team is rolling, but making shots is also about rythm, confidence, feeling superior to the other team... When you notice you're playing like crap and feel like your team is not prepared to beat the opponent, you lose focus and confidence, and miss those shots.

 

Both of those guys made a big impact earlier in the season when they played .

so yeah , I expect them to play fine .

I don't expect a big impact ... I expect them to be nuetral ... which is all you need because harden can carry us if you just take some of the weight off of him .

its clear Nene is done . It's clear Chriss never had it . It's clear you need a big body ... so why not try him ?

If he fouls and sucks it up .... then at least you know he's not ready . But he has looked solid this year . He's just not consistent . If you give a rookie PT ... chances are he might improve ?

By last year, are you referring to the year where we had one of the most exciting playoff experiences in over two decades?

Or are you referring to when CP3 balled out (with Harden) and advanced us to the WCF? And when by all fair appearances we had an excellent chance to win but for BOTH CP3's injury and some highly suspect calls?

Morey still hasn't signed a shooter to this team. He always sign non shooters and hope they improve somehow. It doesn't make sense to me. We've been in this system for so long now, it's no excuse.

 

You were also saying we shouldnt trade Tucker and yea I stand by what I said. Tucker is gassed and he needs a viable back up.

 

Right, but we're getting blown out right now. If Hartenstein comes in, the worst that can happen is we get further blown out. If either way results in an L, I'd rather see something new, rather then sending our crop of 6'6'' players against the McGees and Zubacs of the world.

 

MDA has literally no offensive sets. Offensive sets and off ball movement is what allows underskilled players to have easier buckets.

If I saw effort I wouldn’t mind, they are just playing super defeated right now, it’s frustrating to say the least. We have seen them do this when healthy, so it isn’t about health....and u are right seeding doesn’t seem to matter as much, but if cousins plays like he did last game, there just isn’t even a point to watch

 

That's an overreaction. Morey is legit.

I fear that he won't be here much longer, though. Tilman being a limiting factor will drive him away eventually.
