For sure worth a shot, he will at the VERY least hustle (unlike Chriss) while not fouling constantly (unlike Hartenstein) while being able to play more than 15 minutes (unlike Nene)
No argument there. But IMO Faried gives us a high-motor, rebounding PF behind PJ that we've really needed. We're still looking for the #2C.

i don't think so. he won't see the floor as a 4 on this team. he doesn't fit that role at all. just like how trez never did. he's the backup C

True. I'm thinking of him as a situational player, similar to Montrezl. Not the typical 5 we can throw out there when we're facing teams like New Orleans (when healthy), OKC (Adams) or Milwaukee that pound the crap out of us inside. When Capela sits we can't match up with those types of teams. He also seems like an "OK" rim protector at best. I'm still holding out for that really long, defensive front-court guy. PJ for example can box out a guy like Adams, yet still lose the rebounding battle. Just not long enough. No complaints here though. Hopefully he can be clearance rack gem like Rivers. Maybe once we finally dump Chriss we can try Caboclo in the emergency rim protector role.
FARIED WILL NOT PLAY THE 4 I typed that really slow because those who think he will play some PF cannot read fast. In our system the only 'big' is at the 5. A versatile long face up shooter who can bang the big bodies is the dream 4. Until then its PJ and House (!) and Clark and whomever.

He's complete garbage. Playoff teams don't cut even average players in the middle of the season. Faried really wasn't even good when he was "good". Always a notoriously horrible defender.
Faried was on the Dream Team that won the 2014 FIBA World Cup Championship. Hope we see World Cup Kenny return next week.
Shame you don't like the real world. Faried was bad 4 years ago. He can't stay in a rotation for a reason.
