AOC (who, I think was designed in a lab to torment incels/alt-righters who thought they had "won") is kind of the master of online-right jujitsu. Every attack, which usually falls into a pretty obvious set of sex/race based categories, tends to result in the attacker making some sort of weird concession and then debating policy (or abandoning it altogether after she manages to clown them or change the subject). She's got an online presence/following of a Trump but manages to use her powers for good instead of evil. I've never been the hugest AOC booster (didn't hate her, just didn't have much of an opinion but generally sympathetic to most of her policy positions) but she's really impressively good at all of this.
You have to understand that our friends on the left, especially those that are considerably to the left feel they have no choice but to defend the feeble minded young socialist AOC. There is no limit to the mental gymnastics they will perform to accomplish this task. Hell if they are laughably far enough to the left, they may even view her as an intelligent person.....which is just about the saddest thing I can imagine.

If anyone should be "scared" of her, it should be Democrats, she's the kind of idiot that runs off moderates.....and in this context "moderate" could mean any non-socialists. I considered Donald Trump a disaster, but honestly she's just so much worse given that Trump seemingly has no specific ideology and she's an outright socialist which inherently makes her even less intelligent than he is, something that is hard to even imagine.
I think she is good at trolling people on Twitter, which President Trump is also good at. Do I think AOC is the female version of Donald Trump? No. And that might just be the stupidest question I have ever been asked. Congratulations.
Donald Trump is the President of the United States and AOC is a first-time member of the House of Representatives. I don't think it's fair to categorize her as a disaster in any comparison to Trump. I just don't understand the outrage against her. She's young and bright; her election should be commended. Do I think she's a stalwart of the future leadership in the Democratic party? Probably not. In all likelihood I see her fizzling out. I think Ben Shapiro is a pseudo-intellectual fool, but i realize he's not in a position of power so I don't sound off against him regularly

I think you misunderstand, I was saying Trump was a disaster for the Republican party....and he is despite winning. I was saying that AOC is an even bigger disaster for the Democrat party, or rather she could be if she ends up being more than just a one term member of the house. When it comes to her, there's less "outrage" than there is people simply pointing and laughing at her. She's a simpleton pimping out a dangerous ideology, arguably the most dangerous ideology of modern times, that she is too feeble minded to understand fully. Most of the time that merely causes people to laugh at her, sometimes they'll point out the horrors that would result if she actually got her way. I expect that her stupidity will be used in Republican attack adds all over the country forcing Democrats to speak out against her all the time and she'll likely end up nothing more than a 1 term representative when the DNC runs a more competent and intelligent person for her seat in 2020. So why not sit back and laugh for the time being?
