hmmm...there must be a trade on the way. morey has a plan. make a trade and lose our firsts for a 3 like baze more, while keeping the remaining MLE money in case a buyout comes....

I don't really know if there's a trade on the way, but i also think keeping House at any cost is not vital for this team, if we can sign him to a good deal for us too i'm all for it, if he wants to get the rest of our MLE i don't know...it's true that we might very well end up with nothing on the buyout market, but what if a better player than House ends up being available? That MLE money means we can offer more than other teams and have a better chance to resign that player with no bird rights next season...i mean, it's still something to consider.

    I'm calling it now

Clark will temporarily be as great as he was at the beginning of the season

What happened to him was that he ended up hitting that Rookie 'wall'. His legs and body weren't accustomed to playing so many games and thus his shooting percentage began tanking

He has had more than enough time to rest and adjust. His legs are fresh again and he is going to come out on FIRE.

People here will then say 'We don't need House, we have Clark" followed by the next week with those same people calling for his head because his endurance will begin waning along with his production again.

As his rookie body gets more acclimated for the endurance of a NBA season, he is going to be a good serviceable NBA player long term.

Saying all that, I believe Ennis will get the starting nod tonight.

His G-League production has been baaaaaddddd. I liked him in the draft, and thought in the summer he looked interesting, but theres some signs here that there's some more intriguing talent out there that should be looked at first. I think Bruno might deserve another look before Vince.

I think it just kind of speaks to the depth of talent that is readily available that is probably better than what you are going to get out of the 2nd round of the draft. Teams just don't have the patience and the contract length for guys like Zhou Qi and Vince Edwards, but in a couple years they could be back like as they float around & improve. There's just not much incentive to hold onto a guy like Edwards for years when you can easily snag guys like Gary Clark who can play now. I'm hoping Nunnelly will be another example of that.

You know, it baffles me how he moves slower than his body type would indicate...
