******* Westbrook is TERRIBLE this season. How in the name of God does this mother****er continue to get a pass by the media?!?!
OKC has peaked. They are coming down to earth now and I think will finish 4th or 5th seed. I hope that they face GSW at some point and that we do as well - that would make for a challenging set of opponents and be far more difficult than what they went up against last season. I actually thought they had a much easier bracket than us going up against a Kawhi-less Spurs and then the Pelicans, whereas we faced the Timberwolves and Jazz.
The Nuggets are frauds and are finally getting exposed. I hope this puts an end to the 'Nokic for MVP' talk.
This. Also, usually, winning solves everything. The Nuggets have had an AMAZING start. But, there are certain vets who still want their shine and the respect they used to get. Denver is that team I've mentioned about becoming greedy. They're on an amazing run, but the wheels are going to come off when they lose that 1st spot out West and when Millsap demands the ball more. Their guards are the future, but they can't play elite guys one on one and rely too much on Joker. In a playoff scenario, if the Nuggets were still 1st, they would be a team that I could see being upset a la Golden State and Dallas. They're fools gold...Joker is amazing, but the team as a whole is not a threat. Just my sentiment and distaste for all sports in Denver. The Pepsi Center still gives me chills when I go watch. I still remember the James/Dwight/Jet/Smoov/Trev/Corey games where the team looked like they just met and were forced to play 48 minutes together. I'll never forget Dwight not being in the play while James was asking for a pick, and instead, stood near the 3 point line talking to a fan next to me with his equator smile. Awful. Jet was the saving grace that night, even in the loss. He was the only one who could get Dwight to go for a rebound and stop demanding the ball in the post against a good Nugs double team. Dwight missed hooks, dunks and nearly every free throw. I'm probably wrong, but I think he exited with 4 points...as a starting center with James Harden who we all know likes to reward centers. (Hi, Clint)
Right, it is easy to predict. Jokic is not a superstar. Not yet at least. They have no real stars beside him - everyone is borderline.
OKC lost to the Hawks lol...Sixers lost to them too few days ago btw, maybe they're also not that bad...we better watch out, might be a trap game for us
Nice job editing out your inane rant on how Codman is a fraud and never contributes anything to the community.
Win tonight moves the rockets a 1/2 games out of 3rd. Thunder schedule is ramping up now and they are struggling.
Free birds. Amiright? Something something just an ear. There you go, I just told you the gist of the next 38 codman posts.
