    honestly, this could be a blessing in disguise. we wont get capela back till end of feb/beginning of march latest. playoffs start april 10. we'll be able to just coast to playoffs - win some here lose some there but still make it. capela will be fresh by then, not to mention the added on talent im sure we'll get through a trade or more in the mean time.

    keep in mind, rockets are currently 6th and only 5 losses behind 1st..

    And it ain't an easy 15 game stretch at all. Especially with CP3 out til possibly the end of the month. The problem is the team ain't that far removed from the lottery. Utah and Sactown are each sitting at 21 losses and the Jazz have been coming on strong lately(similarly to how they did last season in the 2nd half). Plus LeBron will be back soon which should at least stabilize the Lakers who are currently in 8th.

    It's not overstating it to say the Rockets could find themselves on the outside of the postseason picture looking in if they don't quickly make a deal for another big man.

    Problem is there are 9 playoff teams in the West; the current 8 and Utah. We haven’t separated ourselves much in the standings. I mean, who knows, this team has surprised me time and time again; but Capela is way more instrumental than EG; and even Paul good games by Austin could mitigate the loss. We’ll see but this sucks

    It appears this is a similar injury to what occured to David Robinson during the prime of his career.

    Hopefully not as the injury will cause some loss of mobility.

    Is this a serious post? They're also only 2 games ahead of Utah who are 9th. And BTW, the Jazz currently own the tiebreaker against us.
