Even if this is true -- and I think the difference between an "economic migrant" and an "asylum seeker" has become very muddled -- how do we know the next caravan doesn't wish ill intent? These caravans must be stopped one way or another. If a wall helps do that, even in some small measure, that's fine with me.
LOL fair enough I'll let you retreat knowing that you can't answer simple questions related to your accusations. Better luck next time.
Haha, I can relax as well as the next guy. But I just went back and looked -- you were, in point of fact, responding to my post.
Weird... that "Caravan" was a huge crisis just in time for Midterms. Soon after, trump pulled the troops out. Now, we are supposed to believe that there is a crisis? There's a great story about a boy and a wolf...
Yes, I responded to your post. And I was replying to you in the first part of my post, when you hilariously compared a caravan of migrants traveling a ridiculously long distance to try and find a better situation to WWIII. But then I switched gears and specifically said, "I also like how a specific Trump supporter asked others to look up the definition of crisis." I were still talking about you, I would have said, "I also like you asked others to..." I'm not sure if you can identify the subtle difference there. Reading is fundamental.
Trump supporters don't really care who pays for it as long as its built. Trump supporters are mostly poor and middle class. They're the ones who have been effective by illegal and legal immigration the most. Ask yourself who's benefiting from lowered wages? Are the working class benefiting from it, of course not? They know the wall will eventually be a net positive for them
I am not sure that you can blame being in custody as why these kids died. Didn't both of them just finish the child abuse journey from the south just before falling ill?
Do you live in Houston? I do, and I absolutely benefit from illegal immigration. There is a reason that the cost of living in Houston is so darn good. It is partly because illegal immigrants take on most of the hard labor jobs that most Americans would never do. And please point out specifically how the poor and middle class are negatively effective by illegal and legal immigration. You are just repeating what the right wants you to repeat. Critical thinking sometimes helps. Where are all the Texas Republican leaders complaining about the illegal and legal immigration? The smart ones are not, because they understand how valuable they are to our economy and cost of living.
Clear wring and avoiding convoluted sentences is fundamental. Not sure how much staying power that has, but we can sure try! Release it to the internets.
This might be helpful for your question: Everything has its tradeoffs. The low cost of things you benefit from means a lower wage to someone else. And not sure why you have to question the intelligence of anyone who disagrees with you...but it very likely reveals a lot about the strength and merit of your arguments.
The caravan was full of people coming to a legal port of entry to make a claim for refugee status. Not crisis it's just a normal decision that are being made by immigration officials on a daily bases.
Does critical thinking not help sometimes? I never said the poster was incapable of it either, you just interpreted it that way. Freudian slip perhaps? It does amaze me that Trump supporters, who love Trump's bravado, politically incorrectness, tough language, name-calling, and pu**y-grabbing ways can at the same time be so sensitive.
Uh no. That caravan -- and its size -- was new. But it won't be the last if we don't do something different.
