I'd like to know what names those were. If the name is something like the noted terrorist "Jose Hernandez" I'm going to guess there might be some confusion about who is who. I'm sure when OBL crossed the border via Mexico, the first thing he did was give border patrol his real name and show them his official al Qaeda clubhouse ID card. Also, since the point is that a wall will just be circumvented, not sure what the relevance is. They build their wall and the flood of terrorists continues unabated.
And while they are providing details... what constitutes an encounter... notice they are careful to not say "captured", or "apprehended", or even "interviewed and released". And they don't say if the "encountered" person's name simply popped up on a list, whether it was a relative or simply a similar name. Meanwhile they previously lied by saying 4,000 terrorists, and even when challenged on that number (that the 4,000 referred to people at airports, not at the southern border), they lied again and said "Certainly a large number" of known or suspected terrorists come across the southern border". And that larger number turns out to be six. At this point the American people can not trust anything trump and his admin says about what is happening at the southern border.

The numbers appear to be tilting back to the 4,000 people that have been encountered at airports.
