    when it wasn't considered a blowout til about 4-5 mins left in the game then yeah there was reason

    Great win. Rebounding and defense are still definite concerns, but I'm assuming it gets better when Chris Paul and Gordon come back and we don't have to play Brandon Knight. Right now, I'm hoping they can get a good backup center (Dewayne Dedmon would be perfect) in the buyout market and another solid wing option (DeMarre Carroll?) in the trade market or vice versa.

    We are legitimately better than last year. No way we win so many games against tough competition like this without CP and Gordon last year

    We are their matchup nightmare. They don’t have premeiter defense to stop us. Milsap is declining significantly.
    People are saying they will be ahead of us in the WCF chase. Lol

    So why not take him out in the last 2 minutes when the score was 117-100? D'Antoni is just as terrible with minutes management as Thibs. It's a good thing that the Rockets started winning, because oof...

    The last few minutes was cringe worthy but overall good game. The key to beating the doubles was quick aggressive moves by harden finding Clint and Tucker as it was their defenders that were showing on Harden as the double guy instead of holding onto the ball .

    He played a solid floor generals game tonight. Played off what the defense gave him and spread the ball.Gerald was good again with his instant offence and energy.

    A few things with this

    1 - no one on OUR team was playing hard .... but the nuggets had their deep bench in and those types of players are always trying to scrap and get minutes . I could easily see them throwing their body around

    2- I want harden to maintain his killer instinct ... aka when you are in the game you are locked in and playing hard .... when he can just loaf around it takes you out of the zone

    This same bench (without Nene) played well against the Warriors. A game in which Harden got rest and came into the game with 8 minutes left in the 4th. Rockets have enough to give Harden rest even with CP3 and EGo out. They absolutely do.

    their starters were out the last 5 minutes with us up 16, i think Harden stayed because he wanted to for his 35+ streak.

    it doesnt come as a surprise to me. harden isnt doing anything else besides throwing up 3's anyways at that point
