I think the refs actually watch a ton of game tape on Harden and knows what to look for on these step back moves which is why Curry didn't get away with the travel. If that's the case I think it works in Harden's favor and the team's favor that his movement is legal.

Didn't the NBA ref Twitter account responded as such and gave empirical evidence that Harden's step back is legal?

he still can’t get over the fact that the players voted for the real MVP in 2015.

Somebody needs to send the Warriors a box of pacifiers to be used as mouth pieces for the rest of the season

    NBA sponsored of course

Let them whine and complain. Real pundits know the truth.

So after all these championship trophies, MVP's and whatever, this team from top to bottom are still immature and jealous of Harden, to the point that they complain publicly about Harden's play.
    Wow

Just watched it like 10 times in a row again. He was so close to gathering it at the right time but was just a little early. It says something when you can frustrate a media darling with a traveling call that a media villain doesn’t get called for. It means you aren’t doing it right my dude.

It was a travel. Harden got away with a travel ONCE this year against Utah and everyone just assumes it's a travel every time lol. It's not.

He put up 31 lol... can't even get that right.

The footwork of Harden, combined with handles and body control is literally amazing.

Harden step-back: A genius move, well-designed and obviously rehearsed to death; meant to take advantage of the "gather" part of the traveling rule. It will be copied by many in the coming years.

Curry step-back: A stupid mistake by a whiny b****, followed by a stupid attempt to equate it with Harden's.

Is this a Good Explaination of the Gather Step?

I know it's been said already, but I love it that he is in Curry's head. In the middle of a game against another team. I love it.
