What you said is all true but I think they might be a mediocre Front Office that can be taken advantage of.

One part of me also deems they cannot be that dumb but who knows.

Morey has pretty much said "the Rockets will be buyers before the deadline".

But if the poll is specific to Beal, I'd say no.

I was surprised that they gave up on Oubre. However, they traded for Ariza to keep themselves competitive. Their team chemistry is bad, but they want a big price for Beal. This has nothing to do with the Rockets.

I hope Jeff Green will become available as he is a cheap and useful veteran since he is on an expiring contract. He can add some depth to the Rockets. If their asking price is too high for him, then Morey should pass up on him.

Morey always opens his mouth for no reason. Duh, everyone knows that. Just keep quiet and do your job as best as possible. Injuries are precluding management from adding a significant player. I'm happy with the House and Rivers pickups, they have exceeded my expectations, but we have to be realistic.

I'd agree with you sometimes. But just saying "we're going to be buyers" is pretty general. And it might result in teams who are "sellers" reaching out to us to probe deals.

It can be done quietly by reaching to teams that the Rockets have interest in. Unfortunately, potential trading partners leak out information to get better deals. No one can control that.

Overestimating a player's potential vs a more talented player who can also be of use, ends up hurting a team. These "little" things matter a lot.

Morey did that with Dorsey vs DJ. He also went with Marcus Morris vs Kawhi. It was obvious that Marcus was a tweener who was too slow to play as an SF. It has taken him years to become a good forward.

Kawhi didn't have a jumper, but he could get to the rim and his athletic defense stood out. Once, he learned how to shoot, he soared to the top.

I believe it does to a certain extent. JG is a veteran who can play consistently as a role player. MCW can't do anything.

LMAO you think you're really good at debating don't you. Thats not relevant to the conversation? Half your argument is bashing me for believing LA will "blow their load on Beal when AD is available" so it's ENTIRELY relevant for me to say neither of them are going to be moved till the deadline.

Green would be another nice plan B option for 4 spot. Old but long at 6’9 and can defend perimeter, rebound, attack basket, handle/pass the ball.

    Only weakness is 3 ball.

Then it's a hard no. Any potential pick-up should shoot better than 36% from 3. A team that's based on shooting a lot of 3s shouldn't have so many mediocre shooters.
