Care to say who has a worse Oline than Houston? I’ll be the first to say Deshaun has a lot to learn, standard for a 23 year old QB who’s only started 22 games and 1 playoff game, but the Texans oline was the worst oline in the league. Both things are true.
According to PFF, the Broncos, Jets, Bills, Bengals, Raiders, Vikings, Chargers, Dolphins, and Cardinals were all worse than the Texans. That said, they are looking at more than a raw sack total to make their evaluations so I'm sure it's not as accurate as yours.
[Premium Post] Watson was not sharp today, even factoring in the terrible o-line. His accuracy and decision making will become increasingly important as he ages and his scrambling ability diminishes. He needs to continue to improve to be able to compete against playoff-level competition. BAD DAY
Raw sack total isn’t the end all be all, and neither is PFF. That being said I’ll give you the Jets, Bills, Cardinals and raiders but you’re gonna have a hard time convincing me the Chargers have a worse oline. You’re also gonna have a hard time convincing me we don’t need significant upgrades on the oline
In his mind this O-line that has Watson internal clock out of wack to close out the season has 1st rounds picks through out it
Right all they need is a coach and a QB and Clowney. Clowney sucks. No way in green hell is he an irreplaceable level player. He’s barely better than Mercilus. Let him walk and tank some other defense with bonehead penalties, injuries and big contracts.

Part of the reason you may not realize how bad the Chargers' O line is actually doing is because Philip Rivers is getting the ball out the 8th fastest in the NFL and yet he's still been sacked 32 times. PFF's comment on their O line is "The Chargers’ offensive line improvement has been vastly overblown. They still employ the lowest-graded guard and lowest tackle in pass protection this season. Left guard Dan Feeney has allowed eight sacks and eight more hits, while right tackle Sam Tevi has given up eight sacks and 12 hits." As to the Texans needing upgrades, I agree with that, they absolutely need some help, but the O line is nowhere near as bad as those making excuses for Watson would suggest. No O line would eliminate a lot of those problems and that's my point. As Watson grows as an NFL QB, he'll get the ball out quicker or he'll continue to get sacked. I have all the faith in the world in him.....if he gets some competent coaching to help him along.
What they need is a new coach, some help at CB, some help at OT, and some growth by Watson as a QB. Saying that Clowney is "barely better than Mercilus" is the second most ridiculous thing I've heard anyone in the Texans forum say today behind "BOB did a good job". It's just laughably ridiculous, in Mercilus' wildest dreams he'd still know better.
Offseason needs: HC, OC, DC, OL, RB, TE, WR, DL (gonna need extra help here replacing clowney’s massive hole) LB, CB, Special teams, play calling, scheme, salary cap lol Stupid Texans lol Very bad

Nah bruh we gonna be fine with BoB running the show, WR gonna be fine, RB gonna be fine, just shore up the OL, find another corner and we good.
Honestly WR and RB should be fine with Fuller coming back and they'll still have Lamar Miller. BOB running the show is one of the biggest problems the Texans are going to have going forward.
Looking at the Texans free agents, I say you bring back Clowney, Mathieu, Fairbairn, Covington, and maybe Dunn and Carter for cheap. Brennan Scarlett is restricted, so I'd keep him for the right price too.
In the media, the Colts are the future, a juggernaut marauding through the NFL. The Texans had a fluke season, were overrated, and aren't very good with no real path to relevance. Good grief.
