It seems like a competent head coach is too much to ask with the ridiculous extension BOB got.

That’s the concern. We stand pat and end up like the Cleveland Browns year after year after year after year.

Lol. I hear you man but O'Brien is here two more years minimum.

We've all seen him survive 4-12. So, it will take 2 consecutive crap seasons minimum to be fired.

Unless, Lil McNair is a true new sheriff in town.

Expecting this team to win in the playoffs is delusional.

Screw it, fire BOB, offer Wade Phillips the job as HC/DC and get someone competent to run the offense and win the SB.

Can’t fill? They filled in just fine for 3 years. Offense doesn’t suck because of OL but some lumberjack with an OL and 1 recognizable 4’ tall WR just raw dogged Clowney.

Yeah, but this is the NFL.

The Jags looked like they were bound to dominate the division for a good while...the Falcons were just in the Superbowl like 2 seasons ago? The Panthers too. Teams go from worst to first to first to worst quickly in this league.

Not For Long has the most parity of any sports league.

I mean, that means you should definitely take advantage of the chances you get and this was a wasted one, but I wouldn't go crowning the Colts just yet for the foreseeable future. They got hot at the right time but I'm not all that terrified of them tbh, I was more scared of the Jags moving forward after last season than what the Colts are doing now. Hell, I'm still terrified of the Jags getting a decent QB... The colts seem like a team that is hot at the right moment and they may yet get a SB appearance out of it with how they are playing now.

Yeah, they can't fill that hole if they are dumb enough to create it.

The reason that the Texans couldn't get any pressure on Luck is because he's an elite QB that gets the ball out quickly....not some young up and comer who holds on to the ball too long, can't read defenses, and struggles to complete passes all game long. Massive difference when it comes to the guy behind center. Swap the coaches and QB's and the Texans win easily.

We going to act like luck doesn’t have one of the best O-lines in the NFL ?

One positive is Watson will Atleast be able to finally go into an offseason and work on his craft

My point is that it's irrelevant, put Luck behind the Texans' O line and Watson behind the Colts' O line and Luck still wins. He's a QB that makes his O line better, Watson is a QB that makes his O line worse.

This is another O’Brien failure not having the team ready didn’t have them ready to start the season got into the offs same result we saw this vs the chiefs 3 yrs ago

You have to move the pocket
I'm old enough to remember luck's playoff performances when his oline was sh*tty and he held on to the duke too long.
    Play off ratings 2012 @ age 23: 59
    @ age 24, 2013: 76
    @age 25, 2014: 71.

It's a good thing and shows what a new system and line can do.

He held the ball when he could hold it, he didn't hold it when he couldn't. Elite QB's know when they can do it and when they can't and Watson just isn't there yet but he's young. All season long Watson had wide open receivers that he simply couldn't see and he took sacks that were 100% his fault. He's learning but Luck is already there. That's what I'm saying.

Watson simply isn't good enough in this part of his career to make up for how terrible BOB is.

I guess Luck must have learned how to make his O-line better while he was rehabbing his busted shoulder. Because every previous season he was getting the **** beat out of him until the Colts finally made a concerted effort to put an O=line in front of him
