I disagree with the last non call. The report says that Harden's kicked out leg caused the contact. But Green's hand hit Harden's shooting hand (and wrist). It should be an automatic shooting foul. The hand contact had nothing to do with Harden's leg.
Agreed completely. These are they types of things that make me not care too much that the league is “owning up” to non or missed calls. I’m sure the league and refs do talk about it, but so what. Nothing ever really comes of it.
The entire Mavs Rockets Finley out of bounds series was rigged. One of those disgraced refs even calls it out in a book. The NBA wants & game series and it looked like the Rockets might win in 5 so had to keep pushing it.
I honestly believe the game is rigged, the Warriors Owner Joe Lacob pays Millions in Luxury Tax to the NBA Front Office. Where is the money going after the Commissioner Salary the Referees Salary of course, The Referees Boss is Technically Joe Lacob if you really think about it.
Finally Media Negative Karma of Cheating is called out since the WCF rigged series. Of all the Warriors players, Durant the snake slithering, pogo stick legs running out of bounds, finally the media especially Twitter caught on which is hilarious and some relief, toward the whole Stephen A Smith Narrative of Ariza and Moute Garbage Topic they discuss. Danuel House Jr, Austin Rivers are a huge blessings to have now.
biggest missed call ever??? get off the gas.... it was only a reg season game and we won lol. It was a horrible call to miss. That is for certain.
Missed calls like this one and others in the game such as calling a ball out on Harden that wasn't. Makes me start to think the WWE is more real and legit than the NBA. Anything to protect their money makers in the bay and LA.
Lillard said the people of Oakland, the real Warriors fans, can't even watch the games anymore because they are so overpriced. Now they are moving the team to a new arena. Follow the money.. Tilman needs to start handing out some Landry's gift cards to these NBA executives.
They talk about it until the NBA tries to send their goons in to fix the WCF then they just don't care anymore.
I'm still surprised that the NBA doesn't have a replay challenge system by now (not the last 2 minute thing)...even baseball has it now and they were the slowest to adapt any replay system. I'm sure fouls will never be a challenged like the NFL but you can do possession or basket type plays.
I hate these reports because there is never an explination for the call or no call. Are they suggesting the two refs looking right at it just missed it? That's insane. Obviously they saw it and swallowed their whistle for some reason (home court advantage, it was the end of game, etc...) . If the league wanted to be honest with the fans they would ask these refs why they swallowed their whistle and tell the fans the response.
They do have a replay system. But it is initiated by the refs, not by the teams. And it only review out of bound calls, not non-calls. So this one cannot be review under the current guideline. http://www.nba.com/official/instant-replay-guidelines.html
Coaches like D'Antoni would challenge every minor call or non-call, making it less watchable. Those are 2 extremes of the spectrum. Or you could limit those challenges to 1 each team in each game.
There has to a flag challenge or Coachs Challenge Replay Review, 6 each like timeouts. Also Injury Timeouts Right away after somebody is on the floor, is a must in the league, Austin Rivers is on the floor injured and concussed and they are running up and down the floor. It's 2019 and still it hasn't changed for the good.
