    Austin Rivers has made Gordon expendable. Gordon with 2 first round picks if Butler is willing to commit to us.

    Gordon is long term, Rivers is short term, need to make bid in July. Kings or Mavs have advantage in bid, they are below the tax.

    the miss that hurts the most is Paul George back when Indy was dealing him...we’d be a definite dynasty if we had Paul George and would’ve had a ring for sure last year

    And what sucks is that those idiots in Orlando basically screwed us by gifting Presti Sabonis and Oladipo for Ibaka (expiring) cause they thought he was going to turn them into a good team, smdh...without that trade i like our chances to land George for Gordon and picks.

    Meh. I was thinking about that earlier today if we had gone after PG with our assets instead of CP3. Either Paul George wouldn’t be as good for us or Harden wouldn’t be as good as he is. It’s not about how willing someone like PG is willing to buy in, but how little he would actually touch the ball. CP3 is old enough to the point in his career where he’s totally good with only making plays when it’s needed, and have everything else go through Harden. Trying something like that with PG and Harden I would have to imagine it wouldn’t go as smoothly as some would think.

    I’m talking about missing out on Paul George after the CP3 trade had gone down

    to 1 of your points, Russ took just as many shots as Harden last year and had an insane usage rate, but PG still got plenty of shots and had a really good year, and that was with him playing next to scrub Melo taking 15 shots a game too...he wouldn’t be balling like he is now, but still, he was pretty damn good last season next to Russ

    No you’re right. But I just think Harden wouldn’t be as good as he is right now if we had PG13. He’s pretty selfless and has tried sharing in the past.

    Yeah I mean it would have been nice to score PG13 for EG and picks but that’s really not much of a deal for Indy. Gotta tip your hat to Indy for nabbing Oladipo and Sabonis
