This is very much a winnable game for the Texans.

However....... do you trust the Texans coaching staff?

Do you really feel the defense is consistently good enough upfront to cover for the secondary?

Do you like the specific match ups? Do you think that the Texans will be able to limit Hilton?

Do you think that Watson can get into a shoot out with Luck when he basically has one receiver?

Can the Houston offensive line control the line of scrimmage?

As good as Watt still is, is he good enough on his own to disrupt Luck?

It is overall a fair match up. The Texans inability to take care of business against the Colts and Eagles told me where they are..... and there is a level of inconsistency as well with the Texans.

Do you really feel the Colts defense is consistently good enough upfront to cover for their secondary (Kenny Moore? Pierre Desire? who??) ?
Do you like the specific match ups? Do you think the Colts will be able to limit Hopkins?
Do you think that Luck can get into a shoot out with Watson when he basically has one receiver (ok he does have a tight end too)?
Can the Colts offensive line control the line of scrimmage in front of a rowdy Houston crowd?
As good as the rookie is, is he good enough on his own to disrupt Watson?

BTW Watt isn't on his own. He has Clowney. Who do the Colts have on their D-line?
And the Colts went scoreless against the Jags. What does that tell you about their consistency?

Don't mind me, I'm trying to hype myself back up for this game :D

The same guys who sacked DW 12 times and hit him another 19 in 2 games this year.

You make some fair points, and I am sure history and great familiarity with the Texans flaws plays a part in my opinion as well.

In the last few Texans games I bet heavily on the Eagles and now the Colts (also got in at +3).

Won big on Philly and was not happy about it.... will gladly eat that money for a win vs Indy.

That's how you set up a win-win situation. If the Texans win, you get to be happy that the Texans won, if they lose, you get to be happy that you made money.

Honestly, that's the best way to go through life.

Listening to yall talk about your betting habits is slightly more interesting than listening to you talk about your fantasy teams. Slightly.

To lose all of my money, I'd have to bet quite a bit, but I'm not big on gambling and certainly not such a degenerate that I'd do so with ridiculous stakes like "all of my money". I was merely suggesting that those who are big on that kind of thing could end up in a win-win scenario if they bet against their own teams. The only time I get money involved with sports is when I play fantasy football every year and I've absolutely ended up in a situation where I needed the Texans to struggle in order to win a league and that absolutely felt like a win-win situation.

The Texans defense appeared to have trouble getting the Colts offense off the field, in the last game they played. Double teamed JJ for almost the whole game iirc. Texan defense versus the Colts offense will be the story of the game.

Time to kick the Colts to the curb and head out for bigger fish.

I'm pretty sure if you blew up the Earth, you will see Clay Walker still doing the national anthem.

I hear you. I'm trying to shake this feeling I have. I disagree that the Colts are the better team. But I feel the same way I felt before the Chiefs game in 2017. Remember that? Yuck. But at least the Texans have Deshaun Watson instead of Brian Hoyer.

The defense held Luck and the Colts in check until Reich pulled out the old Buffalo Bills no-huddle offense. Basically changed the momentum of the last game, and got the Colts 17 easy points in the 2nd quarter (they only scored 7 more the rest of the game).

If the Texans staff can prepare for that adjustment, I'm confident they can do a better job of getting to Luck this time around.... and as it is, he's always good for at least one WTF turnover or critical pick.
