When the Texans win, I hope the coach and players embarrass Pancakes in the post game presser. If the Rockets can beat Goliath, so can the Texans.

If this is one of the “advantages” you’re counting on then we’re in trouble.

This is a bad matchup for the Texans bc the Colts are simply the better team right now. Add to that this franchises propensity to **** the bed when it matters most and anyone walking confidentially into this game is in for a not so pleasant and oddly predictable “surprise.”

I bet this is the only town where the scoreboard reads zero. Pats could always use more fans bud.

the simply better team that just lost to houston. makes sense there. I guess everyone missed the part where if one team is "simply the better team" they lose

Are you saying the colts just lost to the Texans? Honestly can’t figure out what you’re trying to say.

The colts beat the Texans at NRG like 4 weeks ago and they did so handidly. And if it wasn’t for one of the worst coaching decisions of the year we’d be 0-1-1 against them and playing in Indy tomorrow.

Like i said, if anyone is approaching this game w confidence it’s only bc of blind allegiance. Totally ones right but certainly not objective.

The patriots could use more fans lol... that’s your played out line.

The Texans could use more big wins too.

Really? This isn't some amazing team the Texans are playing. After 2 games, the margin between the two teams is exactly 0 points. I've seen games where I've thought one team or another (including the team I pull for) had very little chance of winning the game. But this doesn't strike me as that sort of matchup at all.

The Texans aren't dog crap, but it's safe to say they are catching this Colts team at very much the wrong time.

Luck is looking unstoppable and their defense appears... competent.

We have home field, a young dynamo QB, and a defense that can, when it feels like it, utterly takeover a game.

But it's the Colts, man. I have that dumb horseshoe burned into my brain.

i didn't say you can't expect a win, but if you're sitting here saying we should win well then you're wrong. maybe i'm splitting hairs here but when i see people use rationale like "oh travel schedule" and "watt and clowney have had big (random) games before!" as reasons to feel confident..... o_O

at no point in this franchise's history have the fans earned the right to EVER feel confident. this is franchise mired in consistent mediocrity and downright humiliation when it's mattered most. until they do it on the field anyone feeling "confident" is just deluded themselves.

Teams that should feel confident and that they should win: Bears, Cowboys, Ravens, Texans, Eagles, Seahawks, Chargers, Colts
Teams that shouldn't: Bears, Cowboys, Ravens, Texans, Eagles, Seahawks, Chargers, Colts

I can break the reasons down for all the teams but...it's friday and i'm tired.

All the money is on the Colts now...... but wasn't at the onset.

I got in right away when the Texans were favored by 2.5....

I have gone and covered my $500 wager now that the line has drifted the other way.

The game really should be a "pick em" but I have seen some lines favoring the Colts by as many as 3.......... at that point I took my profit and walked away.

The Rockets line is 12/1 to win the title..... that is too low IMO.

    Ah, makes sense.

Agree on the Rockets. NBA is too shaky to bet on for me now. College basketball is easier and I never thought I would say that.

I think Texans 2nd half will be worth money. Just a hunch
