We would have won game 7 had the referees called 4 blatant fouls on Harden a he was shooting 3 pointers

Balcoholic is, as a rule, always wrong about basketball - and doubly so when he has made his mind up about a player. They will always be meh or amazing in his mind.

Ummmmmm, it is very clear who did win that series.

Like I said midseason last year....We didn't have enough. Yes, we lost cp3. Because we didn't have enough. We needed more luc and less Capela. Injuries are a part of the game We didn't have enough.

    I was right about that.

Umm, iggy was dinged when he was playing. And they got us 2 out of 3 before he went out completely.

There is not one scintilla of evidence that suggests we can match up favorably with their death lineup with Capela on court and win the matchup. I challenge you to find it.

That's possible. But we didn't have enough. Paul was strained. And he broke. IF ......IF ...... IF ...... he had stayed healthy and I'd Luc has stayed healthy we might've won. But Capela would have been 8th in rotation minutes in that scenario.

It should be very clear to you after watching ask these games against the Warriors gong back a couple years what the recipe is to beat them in a series. I've spelled it out and given you proofs.

You are staring at the pink elephant in the room and saying "what elephant?".

You are seeing the emperor naked in front of you and you're telling us how nice the clothes are.

We have to be able to match up with Green and Durant at the 5/4. Capela another guy doesn't work. PJ and Harden are a better matchup for those guys than any other combo on the roster. And that's asking too much of PJ and Harden.

We're in danger of Harden breaking just like cp3 has broken. We're overplaying him and abusing him. Yes he wants it. But we've had to have it just to get back in this thing. We need a healthy Luc/Ariza or even better to beat the Warriors in a 7-game series. And if that happens and we beat them, Capela will be 7th in rotation minutes at best.

The injury card has been used AGAINST ME repeatedly. .including by you. I simply gave a reasonable response. Injuries are inevitable. That's precisely why I said we didn't have enough last season. Margins too thin. Having to overplay guys. Having to overplay big man lineups because we didn't have enough.

Find those posts and repost them. I stand by everything I wrote about Harden. I said he was immature and that he had turned down several trades for playmakers including but not limited to Rubio. I stand by that.

I also started he was maturing when we acquired cp3. Because he was (and is) finally maturing.

I'd be happy to discuss any specific post. So post it. Otherwise you're just making crap up.

lol you know you said it. You remember clearly everything else I said you said.

It was one of your stands. That we would never win anything if Harden was our primary ball handler. Last year he had the ball even more than he ever had before.

But it’s ok. I know how it works with you. If your statements aren’t immediately accurate, than “just you wait and see, I will be right at some point”.

You just moved the goal post. Injuries are injuries. You said that we couldn’t win with Clint playing heavy minutes on our team, period. He did (he played better the first two rounds, but still played heavy minutes the whole WCF). I agree that we needed cp3 healthy. But that still means we could have been a championship team with Clint and a healthy team. Your argument has always been that we would never win with Clint as our center. Last season proved that you’re probably wrong already on that issue.

"We will never win a championship as long as James 'Pistol Pete' Harden is our primary playmaker and refuses to accept a primary playmaker who is a more efficient and creative playmaker than he is."

I believe you mentioned in a previous post that there are a number of players currently not on anyone's roster that you would prefer over Capela in a 7 game series against the Warriors. Can you provide a list of those players? Thanks

Concurrent with improving rebounding and free throw shooting lately, Capela has steadily improved his contract incentive metrics in the past 2 weeks:

    1) Defensive Rebounding Rate = Up from 25.0% to 26.5% (up from 32nd to 20th in the league). Still below the 30.0% threshold for $500K bonus.
    2) Free Throw percentage = Up from 58.5% to 59.9% (career high), but still below the 65% threshold for $500K bonus.
    3) Western Conference Finalists = Not likely, but still possible. $1M potential bonus.

Capela has really stepped up with a number of 20/20 games with CP3 out.
If he hits then incentives for #1 and #2 above, it certainly can't hurt towards the team pursuit of incentive #3...
