Sorry if that came off as rude, or expectant. I didn't realize you had answered that before numerous times. I was just curious what realistic lineup would beat the Warriors, that seems to be so clearly better than one with Capela.

And we can do it with Thon Maker instead? Is that what you are arguing?

    "Very clearly no"

Says the man towards the team who came about as close as it gets to beating the Warriors in a 7 game series with Capela playing top 6 rotation minutes less than one year ago today.

He's not worth a debate. He'll never own being wrong (which is always )

Free throw is 15ft. He is capable of gaining a short jumper if he worked on it. I would prefer a hook.

Why would I admit I'm wrong about something the future that hasn't occurred?

Was I right or wrong last season?
    No problem.

We have to find another Ariza/Luc. House has been great. He's not at that level defensively. Neither is Clark. I know we were after Winslow. I know there are other possibilities. Gotta be able to switch all 5 and all 5 shoot the 3 to match death lineup. It's just that simple.

Nope. I never, ever said that. Did I?

We didn't win! And he was top 6.

    DO.YOU.WANT.TO.REPEAT.THAT?

STUPID is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. They cooked us with Capela on the court and they were missing a key piece of their death lineup (Iggy).

I don’t understand how someone who thinks so highly of their own intelligence can’t see how this easily falls into the false equivalency category.

There are an infinite number of statements you could make to say without this specific thing we won’t beat the Warriors. And because it’s going to be extremely hard to beat them no matter what, you get to be “right” with your statement.

I remember in the past you said something like we would NEVER win a title with Harden as the guy with the ball primarily.

Right now, in your false equivalency world, you are right. But anyone with a brain can see that’s just dumb.

I got you. I didn't realize you meant no center at all. (i assume for just certain portions of the game)

What if Jimmy Butler had come?

    Paul
    Harden
    Butler
    Tucker
    Capela

    I dunno man

It wasn't 'very clear' who was going to win that game.

This is beyond silly. We would have likely beaten the warriors had cp3 played in games 6 or 7, so we could have easily beaten them last year with Clint. You’re just wrong and you refuse to admit it.

Fictional nonsense would be you saying that you're completely fine with running Capela out there against the Warriors death lineup for protracted minutes..

which you don't have the guts to say.

The Warriors are completely fine with running Looney and jerebko out there during the series. And I'm completely fine with Capela playing in the series against looney/jerebko if the Warriors are running those two out there at the 5 and even playing them together some like they did last night.

But the Warriors are not completely fine with replacing a member of their death lineup with Looney, Jerebko, or anybody else on their current roster. And they're also not completely fine with playing their death lineup for 5 to 10 minutes a game against us in the playoffs.

In fact, to the contrary, they are more than completely fine, they are joyful at the thought of playing their death lineup extended minutes against us with Capela on the court. Because there is not one scintilla of evidence that we can beat their death lineup with Capela on court playing extended minutes against their death lineup. But there is some evidence to suggest that their death lineup is better than any lineup we put in the court that involves Capela.

And that is what the trade deadline is for. And that is why Capela may traded at the deadline . And it is also why we can hope that Durant and Green implode the Warriors with their issues and perhaps Durant forces his way out.

Instead of discussing ways to beat the Warriors you'd rather concede that we can't beat them anyways as currently constructed (which has been my point sit being another player and Capela going to the bottom of the rotation at best, or traded) while browbeating me for pointing out what we need to do to beat them.

We has zero chance to win anything until we got Paul. Period.

    I was right about that.

While posters on this board were posting mounds of crapola about how Pat and Trevor were the ideal bookends to Harden I insisted that one or both needed to be replaced by a playmaker. And I got rolled over and over on here for saying such a ridiculous outlandish thing. Same posters trashing me now were telling me how stupid I was for suggesting that Harden needed to play off the ball more and we needed another playmaker that would take the ball out of his hands.

But I was right. And they were wrong. We went to a different level with the acquisition of Chris Paul.

    Thank you for reminding me.

Would have been interesting. But he was never the right fit in my mind. But I don't know. Would have had to see it for a little while to know.

Don’t twist it. You said Harden couldn’t be the guy on the team with the ball the most. He was still that last year.

You also said Harden would never allow Morey to acquire another playmaker.
