Ban worthy and nomination for "Bad Post of The Week Competition Thread".

It would only be banworthy if I went to the GARM and created a thread about it. Stop.

Come on, every great guy is a stat padder, the Beard is just a guy who wins games producing his stats more efficiently than others.

The term 'stat padder' got a negative vibe from all of you guys going at Westbrook.

There's a distinction between Westbrook and Harden. Harden will never point to his stats like Westbrook did when he ranked himself the best PG in the NBA based on his stats. That mindset leads to a player unnaturally and selfishly searching for his stats.

They're both the same type of player. Harden is just better at it and he's a Rocket so...

Was just the term 'stats padder'.

It's just a term. Not worth all fuss about banning posters because they use the term.

It started out without any derogative meaning.

Of course Harden is more efficient than Russ. There is nothing wrong with padding stats or amassing stats.

I suggest you pick a different sport to follow if that's what you seriously think. You're wasting your time with basketball.

It's obviously not a real bannable offense to call someone a stat padder. I'm messing around.

I do question how you think the term stat padder didn't come from a negative manner. By the definition of the term, it's negative in nature.

You are right, it can mean anything related to amassing stats.

You have to be aware of the stats to become a star.

Of course there are players who can get there without even looking at them but they have reached that plateau of greatness already.

Like climbing up a tree, going thru different stages to meet the end boss of a video game, there is the process.

Never mind my presence, keep going at what! :)

Sure, he's padding his stats and winning 10 out of the last 11 games along the way. I'd take that over Westbrook's triple double heroic last season on the way to a 4th seed and first round exit with Paul Georg, Carmelo Anthony, and Steven Adams.

Yeah, some people appear to be talking out their ass. I have never once heard "stat padder" used in a positive way.

"So-and-so player is great, he's one of the best stat padders of all time...yep, he's really padding those stats." Words that have never been uttered.

Filling up the stats sheet or simply "putting up unbelievable numbers" are all positive ways to talk about someone's gaudy stats. Stat padding is not. Come on guys...you're smarter than this.

I wonder if his knees are shot. FG%, 3P%, FT% and FTA all dropping rapidly.
