It's 2019, nothing is over. The Simpsons are on season 45, Roseanne somehow has survived the show not having Roseanne, and an oompa loompa finally runs the chocolate factory. We are done trying new things, now it's all about repackaging old things as new things.
Possible Plot Lines: Jay and Silent Bob learn how to collect social security after age 62. Jay admits that he is an adamant Trumper and donated to right wing fascist groups to fund the wall. Silent Bob is diagnosed with dementia. Seriously.... the time has passed... let it go Kevin.
You forgot about the stuff no one even wanted: Murphy Brown, Full House, Will and Grace. I'm sitting here waiting for Family Matters, Martin, Living Single, and Moesha. Everybody is available.
They should reboot Married with Children. By today's standards that show is tame. They could slide it into a TGIF timeslot now.
Eh, as discussed shows like Will & Grace, Roseanne/The Connors, Full House, and Murphy Brown kinda show that's not the only way a reboot can occur. I mean look at it this way, whenever I reboot my computer it doesn't mean I went out and bought a new one... although, that would be nice.
These are all sequels, not reboots. If its the same actors playing the same characters later in a timeline , thats called a sequel. This issue is important and im willing to fight you about this.
I mean, it is a slow day at work. We could fight about this? But I have to ask myself, do I really want to?... Not sure here. Let me poop and ponder about it.
