I've played this at least 10 times already. Had to give it your Caption, like the Instagram asks. Feel free to retweets this to the hatas, y'all. I can even provide the video alone, so you can upload it to your own tweet replies to the media. This needs to spread as the Houston fan reply.
Had to edit the OP, to explain how Curry is on that list. check this out ... haha 46 minutes played 30pt blowout gets his 10th rebound with 1 second left in the game the golden boy
When analysts like Eddie Johnson don’t even watch the game then say stuff like this tweet, it’s the most frustrating bit. Can these analysts at least watch part of the game before making remarks? Or is that too much of an ask? The Grizzlies were fouling left and right all game. Jackson Jr. nearly fouled out in the 3rd quarter along. It’s not just the refs treating Harden like “porcelain”.
same thing as kobe. it hurts tremendously to watch one guy singlehandedly **** on your team year in and year out
It's insanity. Defenders try doing the same thing to harden and he keeps picking you up fouls. Have they thought maybe the defense needs to play smart, which would lead to less fts for harden? Nope! Still reaching, still slapping his arm, still contesting his stepbacks while taking multiple steps towards harden while not looking. Hello defenders? Contest his step back without the extra steps and dont reach. Hardens fta would go down considerably
The narrative shouldn't be "Harden shoots too many FTs"....... it should be "Defenders foul Harden too much".
What makes you think these analysts aren't watching games? Personally, I think they all watch the games they just see what they want to see.
In this case I do think Eddie does watch games, but I know in this case he didn’t watch last night. But in general many analysts watch the clips and very, very few watch a substantial amount of the games. My last post was more hyperbole then anything, but you can tell when some of the analysts are box score watching (Eddie definitely was yesterday).
The scrubs were also down 23 at the half, and the Rockets without Paul and Gordon were literally destroing them for the second time this season. Grizzlies were not going to win anyway, they were able to come back a little only cause the Rockets started to coast like they always do against meh teams and/or when they're up big...Memphis just has no player that can stay in front of James, and their fat center can't keep up with his pick&roll game, that's why they never switch so, just deal with it.
Verno, the guy trumpeting GRIT AND GRIND Memphis basketball out here being the critic of "ugly basketball." LOL. That's your team, fool!
Do these so called experts watch the games? James knows how to draw fouls it’s plain and simple. 27 free throws will not help his reputation, will be tough to come back from, but they were fouls. Dude does get fouled on the 3 pt. line and when he takes it to the rack. He gets absolutely hammered often. He knows how to draw contact, he’s brilliant. Yes there are calls from time to time that he gets along with every other superstar. But to say he’s not getting fouled and doesn’t deserve to shoot the free throws he’s given is ridiculous. Harden to me is changing the game and that’s what the great ones do.
The league needs to post video/statements explaining the legitimacy of these fouls -- same way they've done in the past with other calls. If people are in an uproar, shut them up.
I wonder how old that guy was when Michael Jordan had the same game https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/198702260CHI.html ESPN tv has been loving Harden this past week or so.
