It is pretty remarkable how HUGE Paul George is to OKC right now. I mean, it is not like PG is the sidekick. He is THE GUY. Westbrook is now the sidekick (though face of the franchise). PG is carrying that team. If PG was playing like last year's PG, with Westbrook taking the lead, OKC would be below .500 right now.

RW always brings the energy. He can gobble up rebounds because of it. And penetrate to get assists to Adams. But what you are seeing right now is how Westbrook's game will age. Which is not well. If he can be "ok" with lessening the usage and let PG take over they could be ok. But when Westbrook goes HAM.....and his skills fail him...that is what you get.

What does ‘scoring the basketball’ mean? Who invented that phrase and why is it still being used?

They've already played Phoenix four times. Currently last in ESPN's strength of schedule rating.

He may be the best ever at grabbing uncontested defensive rebounds. During his "MVP" season, he was continually looking up at his box score stats in the arena. I guess that's his measuring stick...like it's some NBA 2K my player game stat pad edition.

Yeah, he is also the best at his position in staring at the box score screen.

Well, we have discovered a lot of things that Russ is best at his position!

Westbrook: total reb 10.7, offensive 1.4, defensive: 9.3
Steven Adams: total reb 9.9, offensive 4.8, defensive: 5.1

Westbrook is a master of defensive rebounding I tell you.

He is the best at stealing rebounds from Adams Aquaman.

This IS a big factor too. They were lucky to have a SUPER soft schedule to start the year when RW wasn't healthy.

Y'all misunderstanding Russ, when he says "his position" he literally means he's being the best Russell Westbrook he can be. He stopped comparing himself to the rest of the league with that tripp-dub plus MVP season.

Whenever I see Russell Westbrook play Ricky Davis comes to mind every time I see him play, it's like they are related, they absolutely have the same mindset.

CP3 is a better defender and passer at that position. Harden is a better passer too. I call shenanigans.

I'm ok with him thinking that. Once you reach superstar status I think players should start thinking they are the man and is the best player in the game. It leads them to be competitive and show everyone what they believe is true. I mean look at Harden he said he will win b2b MVP and BSPN is reacting like how people here are reacting to Westbrick.

It's different when a guy like Smush Parker says he is no 1 vs a superstar saying he is no 1. One has delusions of grandeur, the other has ambition.

Guys, it has to be true, his mom told him that.

Also, my mom told me I'm the coolest guy ever, so everything mothers say is true.
