At least dobro admitted the evidence is only circumstantial. A weak form of evidence and not convincing. It requires connecting the dots, otherwise known as a logic leap that is not supported by facts.

Circumstantial evidence is what the public has.

This notion that circumstantial evidence isn't strong evidence is silly. It just means circumstantial evidence is not enough for a conviction without any doubt.

There may not end up being any evidence of collusion.

Shame all those other crimes occurred though.

I love that Republicans all now sound like Edward G Robinson or James Cagney in 1930's mobster films - "Yeah, Copper. You'll never prove it, see! You'll never make it stick! You dirty rats!"

If any investigative body had spend millions of dollars investigating any political group, they would find crimes. To me that isn't surprising in the least, and the crimes didn't have to do with Russian collusion.

I agree with you that circumstantial evidence can be strong -- sometimes stronger than direct evidence.

Circumstantial evidence can be considered by a jury just like direct evidence. Direct evidence may be an eye witness claiming he/she saw something (like a witness to a crime pointing out the perp.) Eye witness testimony is notoriously unreliable. People's memories are horribly unreliable; people lie; etc.

So, while circumstantial evidence requires an inference, it is not necessarily weaker or stronger than direct evidence. (You can have a lot of direct evidence and still have reasonable doubt.)

Mueller is doing what is was appointed to do:

The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confirmed by then-FBI Director James B. Comey in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including: (i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and (ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and (iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. ยง 600.4(a). (c) If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters.

btw, obstruction of justice is definitely in play in Mueller's investigation. As are any financial crimes uncovered, including money laundering and emoluments.

There has been evidence of collusion that has been spelled out for you before. There are numerous other crimes committed by Trump's campaign, staff, and cabinet members have been found and admitted guilt to numerous crimes. Undoubtedly more will come.

The fact that some other politicians may also be guilty of crimes which is your assumption without proof, doesn't mean that the investigation is doing something wrong or that the crimes committed don't matter.

Is that what you are suggesting? That crimes don't matter and shouldn't be prosecuted.

There's enough rubes posting on this site to make a case that there are enough out there for him to get away with it.

Bless your heart. You really want the collusion narrative to be true, but you just don't have the evidence. Luckily there are lots of liberal websites like HuffPo, CNN, MSNBC, etc that feed you what you want to hear each day to make you feel better (meanwhile they're just playing you so you notice the ads on their sites...which of course is how they make money).

Like the Benghazi investigation and Clinton email probe that cost approximately 30 million over 2+ years.

Nope, nice try to pull the "whattaboutism", though. When one side can just delete evidence (the emails), then it's hard to find much there aside from Hillary's cyber security stupidity of the bathroom server.

I forget. Was anyone even charged with a crime as a result of "millions" spent on those investigations? How does that compare to the Trump investigations?

Corruption has a way of making charges never get filed....that's not really anything to brag about though.

Not speaking to the Mueller investigation directly, I will tell you that circumstantial evidence can be quite powerful, especially when you have a lot of it.

Juries convict defendants all the time based on circumstantial evidence.
