    Last night was pretty cool. I’m from New Orleans but I’ve lived in Houston for the past 20 years. I am visiting family in New Orleans for Christmas and forgot the Rockets were playing the Pelicans this week.

    So last night I was at the Roosevelt Hotel here in New Orleans and I was walking through the crowded lobby to leave at around 6 pm. And all of a sudden I see someone that looks like Michael Carter-Williams get off the elevator. As I was trying to figure out if it was him or not, I look up and PJ Tucker literally walks right past me. Then I see Eric Gordon and took 2 seconds to say what’s up. Then as I get outside, there’s Keith Jones and some of the training staff standing near the door with some equipment.

    Was pretty cool as it caught me totally off guard because I completely forgot the Rockets were even in town.

    And I could have missed others... but the lobby was very crowded because people who aren’t even staying at the hotel like to come and take pictures in the lobby because it’s decorated like this for Christmas:

    Dodged a bullet - Brothers and Foster are reffing the games immediately below ours on referee assignment - although we have won the last two games with Brothers as head ref.

    We got Zarby, Lindsay, and Wall.
