No, we're certainly better when James Harden goes insane though.

We are not but had we used the $40 mil we are paying cp3 on another star or two we might be. Chris at this point of his career is no longer an all star.

Imagine if Morey traded CP3 for Ariza.

It would be last year's team without Chris Paul's garbage play holding the team back.

would the Rockets be much better with a coach who plays more than seven players?

No, however, when CP3 isn't hitting his shots. Rockets seem to struggle as well.

So true, not one of them moves the needle but collectively...
Rotation could use instant offense, rebounding, spacing, and backcourt defense. Coach would play all 4 of them, too. Plus what whoever else we could sign with the cap space. Harden needs help and these players are help. None are as good as Paul but what is he doing for us now? 2 of the 4 should be good to go if not more on any given night.

More random thoughts with some of this package Butler would be a Rocket and that does move the needle...

CP3 only moves the needle back and forth between resting, and nursing injuries.

Even if 3 of those guys were hurt at the same time you would still have 1 more left, which is better than CP3 on the bench. Oh, and Lou had 36 points last night and has a .925 FT% this year.

If only we can get AD to Houston. AD doesn't make his teammates better on offense but with a playmaker like Harden, he would destroy the league while Harden leads the league in assists.

How mad would CP3 be if he was traded to NO for AD while they decide to tank.

I get it. I really do, but we have had injuries and our bench options are just asking for Ls. Right now we can’t afford Ls. Hopefully later in the season we are more entrenched in the playoffs and fully healthy to where we can afford to play the bench.

Bev was hurt all last year. And Lou doesn't play any defense. Montrezl was the only guy in that deal I really wish we didn't have to give up.

He wasn't that bad. You seem to forget he did have good games, and that his 3 PT% was actually better as a Rocket than what EG is shooting this year from behind the arc.
