Remittances from the US to those countries contributes a very significant portion to their GDP. In Mexico it is 2.8% and is nearly 4x higher in other countries.

Giving these countries more money, more aid, and more trade deals is just throwing good money after bad. Trump should totally have restricted all aid to these countries.

We’re talking about 0.4% of discretionary spending that could save thousands of lives on both sides of the border.

Instead of nationalistic cooperation we are met with the scripted NPC response of “Orange man bad”, Tweet dumps, and mindless contumacy.

With regards to China it means building a wall will have little effect on those overdoses.

So what does that have to do with the wall?

I believe that I've seen you talk about the wall being associated with stopping opioid overdoses.

You’re the one that keeps bringing up overdoses. Overdoses which are primarily a result of fentanyl.

Perhaps he did not address these others because:

    --Climate Change......not a real issue
--income inequality....not much can be done for those that won't help themselves
--lack of basic Healthcare and rising healthcare costs.......quit going to the doctor all the time and using insurance all the time--this is what drives costs up
    --gerrymandering...….eh
--voter suppression.....the franchise is too widely available
--freedom of the South China Sea...… a real issue but eh, let Asian/Pacific countries figure it out
--Russian incursions into Crimea.....a real issue but not much the US can or should do about it

Oh and your source is WaPo, which just got called out by the WSJ for its anti-Trump bias.....

But I'm guessing you'd be outraged and shocked when we came to take it away from you.

It amazes me how common and open this elitist opinion is on the right on this board. Just like you guys are all pro law and order until we look st Donald Trump, who is obviously just the right kind of person and so should be above suspision. I mean, hes obviously not the kind of rabble the law should worry about.

If you actually cared, you would want Purdue Pharma execs prosecuted for lying about the effects of their opiods and causing this epedimic almost single handidly.
