[Inhumane] Second child dies in US custody this month

That's an interesting defense of child endangerment and abuse. They only abuse their kids because they love them right?

 

IV fluids ,oxygen level monitoring and preserving some dignity could had prevented this tragedy, no antibiotics or ibuprofen needed nor recommended before sending that poor child back to the concentration camp

 

girls as young as 12 regularly show up with birth control and plan B according to border patrol because of the high likelihood of rape when attempting to cross. A likelihood that far exceeds staying.

So I would say you are correct the willingness to send children off to be raped does bring about negative emotions.

 

wrong ASSumption, Do you realize how many illegal aliens kids ICE deal with? A couple of deaths make it sound like they're abusing these poor folks intentionally. You dont ever see the feel good stories of border patrols saving lives in the middle of dessert or river when they're trying to cross illegally. Good chance most of them arrived here already with some kind of illness or disease.

 

Sure they died in MY custody, but it's YOUR fault for making me take them into custody. You really disgust me.

I don't know that they are dying because we are allowing people to take advantage of the system. They are dying because staying where they were was that dangerous or that bad that they feel it is worth the risk.

 

A couple of child deaths in federal custody in a month's time and you're going to the what about the feel good things the border patrol does? What?

There are times I really wish the chumps I have on ignore simply disappeared into the ether. I "liked' Astrodome's OP, and it was well deserved, but his post was followed by several comments in response to someone I have on ignore, so it looked like they were in response to Astrodome. I hate it when that happens. I don't intend to restore the goofus on ignore, but I might add a couple of other idiots to my list.

This post is actually really funny. I find it amazing that you would enter a debate forum and feel the need to censor people debating you.

 

I'm simply thrilled that you are amused. Perhaps you should apply that energy to locating your brain, if one exists.

 

He struggles with seeing opposing viewpoints that challenge the way he sees the world. If he could, he'd censor anyone and everyone that doesn't think like he does....it's a backwards way of thinking that unfortunately is gaining popularity these days particularly on the left. Odd since once upon a time not that long ago it was one of my biggest problems with the right and now the authoritarian puritans largely come from the left.

So if someone abuses their child to a point where they are nearly dead and they then drop them off on you, it makes it YOUR fault when that child ultimately dies as a result of that child abuse simply because they were in your custody at the time? That's a really weird way to view the world in my ever humble opinion.

 

I am sure the doctor followed their training and whatever was wrong looked like a bad cold. Precaution was even taken with antibiotics as a second line of defense, which is not even needed for a cold. The boy was cared for, but putting the kid in the hospital when he seemed to just have a cold would seem like over reacting. Doctors make calls and sometimes it doesn't work out sadly. They aren't magicians. The other issue is that the boy was likely in ill health after such an arduous journey. The compromised imune system is a resut of poor parenting choices. This is the result of the parent's idea to break the law and skirt legal ports of entry and other processes.
