    OF COURSE it's an energy thing.
    If you've ever played the game of basketball you would understand
    how gassed you can be toward the end of a game (assuming you haven't sat on the bench the whole time)
    THEN, imaging having to carry the offensive load, handle the ball 90% of the time, be expected to play defense, etc. .
    When your legs are worn out, driving by your man into the lane with a quick burst every play is just out of the question.
    So, you do what you can do to continue scoring points by shooting from the perimeter.
    I get tired just watching these guys.

    Where is all the people that said Rivers is a cancer? Look at his defense, and 3 pointers. Also played at end of game.

    Daryl Morey needs to find a SF, so Eric Gordon can come off the bench.
    A Lanky 6'7 SF type of player that can play smart defense.

    made big shots and really competed defensively...definite upgrade over the likes of Knight and MCW...we desperately needed a guard that could give us solid rotation minutes

    Exactly. This is why Harden played better Defense last season. He didn't have to create every single play, and the bench didn't get run off the court every single game and he could rest longer.

    Fat asses saying he should do even more are crazy.

    and he was used properly today, saved for that last crucial time in the 4th to body Adams, this was one of MDAs best coaching efforts IMO
