The Eagles just put 30 on the Rams. On the road. And LA has healthy CBs (Talib, Peters) and Aaron Donald.
BoB coach to not lose and preserve lead, he doesn't have the balls to coach to go for the throat. He likes to turtle and rely on defense. Has a franchise qb but chooses to rely on the weak run game instead since it's the safer play. This guy is all about the safer choice, sure that will reduce turnovers but this p***y strategy isnt going to get us far.
I do agree with this sentiment. Lots of big plays that were inches from being stopped. Houston's offense has been top 10 in the league for the last several weeks. Stopping the run as well as the Texans have has made teams one dimensional. The concerning thing though is that teams are still moving the ball on us while being one dimensional.
I've always thought a new head coach to go along with drafting Watson was the way to go. Watson has shown he is the real deal, even if it's only been 22 games. The Texans need a head coach with a creative/innovative offensive mind.
So, My point is 30 should be enough to win most games. They put up 29 the last game and you were still b****ing.
You got the wrong one. Not me. Your logic is wrong. 30 should be enough deserves context. On the road with a team that is desperate for its playoff life, with a superbowl winning QB, all kinds of injuries to the secondary, and an offense that just put 30 on the road against one of more talented defenses in the league? I could flip it and say the offense should be able to put up more than 30 against the Eagles beat up secondary.
Agree to disagree Especially since the Texans have alot more talent on the defensive side of the ball. Ever notice how the defense craps the bed everytime they come up against a top tier QB?
Top tier QBs do well against good defenses, that's why they are top tier. That said the defense has been worse over the past few weeks and the secondary has been pretty bad. Without KJ and Joseph they will be terrible. But the offense really only scored 23 points. The other 7 was thanks to clowney getting a turnover at the opponent 5. The defense needs to do better (also should be pointed out that the eagles had a lot of 4th down conversions) but the offense is still too reliant on the defense.
So points scored off of turnovers dont count in your world? Tell me what's the single most determining factor in who wins or loses playoff games.
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...oughing-call-on-jadeveon-clowney-was-correct/ Bill o Brien at it again: "We just have to continue to coach it better." Doesnt own up to being a p***y but sure need to coach better
Turnover margin is the greatest determining fact in games. Particularly playoff games. But keep on lying to yourself.
Bob wanted Mahomes, not Watson at all. If not Mahomes then he wanted cam Robinson and to have savage as the starter:
Ummm no if both team r evenly matched. A coach that's ballsy, taking risk might be the difference between the W and a L. If no balls u will see a punt every 4th down regardless of situation
I'm not arguing with you. Go look at the stats from playoff games. +/= playoff turnover margin. But hey man dont let me stop you hating on BOB even though he's the winningest head coach in franchise history and if they win Sunday they will have had the 2nd best winning season since their inception. Despite the OL/CB/WR/RB injuries.
Turnover r gud ain't not lie. But when u have a p***y hc all we gonna get are punts and fg out of it. No balls = heartbreaking loss
