    Yes,

getting a better OC will definitely help to improve the Texans offense.

While we are at this, fire Romeo Crennel and get a younger and not from the Belichick tree will be nice.

Then, we would like to have someone at least played 10 hours of Madden and with basic knowledge of how a clock works at the sideline to call TO.

Finally, Bob should not be responsible to make any player personnel decisions either.

    So what should Bob do?

Maybe give him a nice seat in Tilman Joseph Fertitta’s Golden Nugget Keno room is the best option.

OBrien wont give up responsibility for the offense because then there wouldn't be any reason to keep him around.

Funny. I was just reading an article calling for Tomlin to be fired because he's terrible at clock management, situational football, and challenges.

Wonder how Steelers fans feel about Obrien, or Texans fans feel about Tomlin.

Tomlin would be so damn amazing. That man is a leader of men.

Just goes to show that every coach is flawed to their own fan base, unless you bill bellicheat, and its not that easily recognizable if you dont follow that team specifically

With less than 5 minutes to go, the Eagles leading by 6, they throw the ball trying to get a first down.

With less than 3 minutes to go, the Seahawks leading by 3, they throw the bomb trying to score because they know whom they are playing against.

With Bob, if given the same situation :

Alfred forking Blue straight to the middle with -1 yard for first, second and third down and then punt.

The writing is on the forking wall with Bob.

Funny that youre so quick to criticize the defense even though it's the main reason the team has 10 wins and is ranked in the top 10

Apply that standard to the mediocre offense please

Eh, HEad Coaches do more than what you see on gameday. It's about running the team as a whole.

They are more than him just calling timeouts at the wrong time. I think a good head coach delegates as much as he can. It's about giving responsibility to the right people. Despite all the clock mismanagement and predictable offense, the Texans are a good team.

This tells me that BOB is doing something right. It's not offense, that much we agree on. So hire a better OC and I think it would improve the team.

Every other Head Coach has a DC/OC, it's not a knock on any of those HCs either and nor should it be a knock on BOB.

Pretty sure it mainly had to do with your description of the defense as amazing. The defense has not been amazing.

I would say they have a top 10 defense, though fallen off the last couple weeks

Points wise, they do, (Which is very important), but yardage wise they don't. I just don't think their defense is amazing.

You should find a clever way to blame the offense for the defense’s short comings.

Bottom line is this has been a top 10 defense and a bottom 10 offense throughout the year. One game the defense plays bad and the offense manages 30 points and all of a sudden people want to throw Crennel under the bus and give O'Brien another extension.

Maybe a better way of saying it is the front 7 is amazing. The safeties are amazing. The CBs drag them out of the amazing category.

Their defense needs to adjust. Enough of film out to counteract the "surprise" up the middle blitzes from Clowney and the corner blitz from Matheiu.

They haven't been able to get consistent pressure when offenses scheme to stop them up front and deliver quick passes to TE's and RB's. They got beat over the top yesterday as well which was a rare occurrence.

The defense will be in trouble if they don't get Kareem and KJ back. Colvin hasn't turned out as planned. Just not a good secondary right now, but the front 7 does enough to keep teams from scoring a lot of points (usually).
