Funny thing is QBs have been lighting us up all season. Even during wins. Playoffs will feature all good QBs. I'm not anticipating real winning until next season after we've upgraded the secondary and oline.
The game wasn’t over at all. Philly got the ball at their own 45 with 4:41 left in the game and the Texans down 6. After two timeouts and an incomplete pass the Texans got the ball back with 4:06 left in the game. The eagles ended up getting the ball back with exactly 2 minutes left.
The Texans faced a talented team.... which means that they lost. Sadly the Texans are so predictable.
Losing to the Eagles and their second screen quarterback just makes this loss even more sickening. Another quarterback blowing stats out the roof against our secondary. Another conservative boring offensive game except for the one great long pass for a TD. I don't know why we wait so late to actually do what others do the whole game, and air that ball downfield.
BoB doesn't fully trust his QB. That is why. Watson rarely at this point of his career puts the ball at risk when throwing.
That second string QB just won a super bowl. He's a starting QB. If Foles wants to start he will be starting next year. Maybe for the Jags or something...someone will be giving him money.
Best case scenario for actually advancing in the playoffs.... Saints beat Steelers Next week: Baltimore beats Browns Colts beat Titans Jacksonville beats Texans 1 Chiefs 2 Patriots 3 Baltimore 4 Colts 5 Chargers 6 Houston Texans win at Baltimore Colts beat Chargers Texans @ Chiefs Colts @ Patriots AFC Title Game Texans @ Colts
B'OB could have the entire Chiefs offense and he would still run the ball on 1st down 99% of the time and call is conservative ass plays
I like this scenario better than playing the colts anywhere. If the Saints win, I'd just start Weeden and run every down.
Injuries happen and at this point in time that's life. With no CB but surprising they didn't lose by more. With no RB and no deep threat suprising they scored 30. With no OL surprising DW still playing. One tuff kid. He holds the ball long to make a play. The line not stopping anyone so had to hold back TE to block. But with DW the future is bright BUT Luck is all the way back so it is a knife fight in AFC South from now on..... And if Jags get a QB.... but they are cap out so they may start losing palyers.
My point was even their backup who won a SuperBowl was pushed aside by Wentz until he got hurt, yet that backup is so good he made passing against us look easy. Sickening
