Yet another poster attacking the OP. CNN named him journalist of the year. It's relevant.

    You consider that an attack?

The poster I responded to wanted to discuss the issues. The rest of my post that you chose not to quote did just that. Why don’t you bother rebutting those facts I posted?

OPs thread title is without errors. But it is not liberal friendly so I understand the grumbling.

That’s a miss. Context and history do matter, except for the blind and unwise. But to repeat - good attempt. Dear leader would be proud of using his style.

Also, I’m quite sure bobrek isn’t a liberal (and there isn’t grumbling), but then again, it’s hard to tell a real conservative from a liberal today.

You are correct. As I’ve posted a few times, the next time I vote for a Democrat for national office or Governor will be the first time. (I wrote in a Republican candidate in lieu of Trump in 2016).

Does the AP's "Player of the year" work for the AP?

The thread title is fine...CNN's "journalist of the year"

    It is an award.

    Thus, the good attempt.

The miss isn’t about the title. It’s about the context, history (of the poster), grumbling and liberal as explained. You missed on all of those points.

way to hold a grudge on someone... actually your comment about the poster shows you have a clear confirmation bias.

No grudge. Maybe on confirmation bias. But I’ll let the evidences speak for themselves.

But, would folks chastise the AP if that player used steroids or had a domestic violence charge or some other nefarious activity? Doubtful.

This headline is misleading as it makes it appear that it was a CNN journalist, not someone who won an award

The interesting bit about this story is that this guy could only pull this off because he wrote what his bosses wanted to hear. All the awards he got were basically for the messages he was sending with his stories, not for the actual quality, as we find out now. This should give certain segments of the leftist media scene pause, and should cause them to self-reflect.

That said, Trump is still a despicable d******d (although sone of his foreign policy decisions, even if for the wrong motives, are better than Obama's, who is a much better human being).

why not media period should self reflect.

How is that only a liberal media problem.

All media should always self-reflect. But this award circle-jerk seems more of a liberal media thing.

Don't worry OP, those speech marks aren't as important to some.

Thankfully I know what they mean and didn't misconstrue your heading and get my panties twisted.
