I worked in the industry for years in my youth and I’ll confess that tip share is fairly common if not standard. The not paying 2.25 till they hit min wage thing is odd though and seems like a scam he shouldn’t be allowed to do. So he’s basically saying if it’s a slow night and you don’t wait on any tables, I don’t have to pay you because you technically didn’t work? What kind of crap is that? I bet he still makes them do side work and clean. What an a$$.
The guy with by far the worst net rating on the team who was horrible on D and inefficient on O gone? That Melo?
Tilman could fire MDA at the end of the season if Morey is unable to bring in a good starter and miss the playoffs.
yeh, you know, the guy getting paid a fraction of EGo or CP3 - with an eFG better than EGo - and only .03 behind CP3 and a PER better than House, Ennis, GG, Hartenstein, EGo, Tucker, Clark, Knight and Chriss... thats the dude...
no mention of defense which is the norm when trying to advocate for Melo Rockets 1st in offense for weeks now but can’t defend and can’t rebound...yeah, sure sounds like they could really use Melo lol please just get over this dude already, he’s not good, and he won’t be returning to the team yet you’re still caping for him...
I only got to the first reply before I had to offer a retort... lol I'd post my laundry list of complaints regarding MDA... but why bother... i've said it all enough times... like complaining that if he constantly runs our 33 yos (CP3 and Tucker) for too many minutes, it's just gonna result in an injury...
Oh I know the Melo shipped has already done set sail... i just found it funny that you were complaining about people wanting to get rid of somebody - without offering an alternative... given yours (and many others) desire to lose Melo w/o providing an alternative... jus sayin.. lol
Tip share may be fairly common but its not ethical …. the worst part of it is you contribute the percentage even if you got no tip at all. The $2.25 thing …. he doesn't pay it AFTER you reach min wage. Most places pay it regardless of your tips. He only pays it if he's required. My daughter in law was also sexually harassed by a fellow employee …. reported it , they basically told her to be quiet then they gave the guy a promotion to management not long after.
The last 2 losses Wolves game, led by 19 in the first half, lose the game Heat game, led by 16 in the first half, lose the game There is no reason to lose these 2 games. If you reverse the loss to wins like this, it is 10 more wins at the end of the year.
You’re comparing getting rid of a coach who just won COY, made it to game 7 of the WCF, has a great relationship with both of his stars, and is fully aligned with Morey’s Moreyball approach to getting rid of washed Melo? Stop...
Well as far the minutes go, I understand why he had to play our guys so much tbh but at this point(we are in a bad spot)...sheesh, lets just give Hartenstein, and Gary some burn not because I really want Gary to play right now but because I dont want PJ to get injured.
McFail made it to game 7 of WCF - and got canned almost as quick as Melo. but basically, my initial reply was jus cause i thought it was funny... hence the " lol " but if the irony is lost on you - so be it...
McFail had a bad relationship with Harden and lost the team...he also sucks as a coach, he was in the bottom tier of coaches...getting rid of him isn’t a big deal because it’s not hard to upgrade from McHale getting rid of D’antoni is a big deal, so yeah, please bring up some alternatives when making some lazy thread about tossing him away you’re reaching so heavy right now with this Melo stuff which is why my reaction is ...and tbh, I really don’t get why u cape for Melo so much
It's like i told someone else... whats the good of running Harden/CP3 and all the starters into the ground for a better record if its just gonna result in injuries and/or Harden having no gas for the playoffs? To keep some irrelevant run of consecutive playoff appearances active - and flame out in the playoffs? Otoh, try to develop some guys and maybe somebody steps up... maybe we sneak into the playoffs and guys are healthy and got the juice to actually contend... Like 2 years ago when MDA glued Trez to the bench... Nene went down and MDA expected Harden to cover Pau and LMA... and the end of game 5 and game 6 meltdown happened...
Hmm...well idk its a tough situation. On one hand, the team probably subscirbes to the belief that once we get in the playoffs will wipe anyone not named the Warriors, on the other like....the West is terrible right now and like the margin of error is so small that we could be dead in the water real quick. So there is a risk involved, its not an easy position to be in. As for the Spurs series...ehhh, I dont wanna discuss about it but I dont really think defending Pau or Gasol in the post is what killed us but thats just my opinion.
Have to start looking at the training staff. FIve hamstring injuries in this calendar year is ridiculous.
