What is silly is someone thinking a player shooting 73.7% (74%) from post ups is in Hardens way. As if Harden shoots greater than 74% on drives. My point is: “is any star good enough to play next to CP3 and Harden?” If a guy shooting 74% from the post is in the way.......would LeBron be in the way? Would AD be in the way? Somebody needs to tell Morey to stop chasing a third star. @Corrosion doesnt think we should.
@Corrosion Harden has a FG% of 51.9% on drives. Only a silly person thinks 51.9% is greater than 73.7%. Find it on page 4 (Harden) https://stats.nba.com/players/drives/
Yeah, those 4 young Lakers stars come here, Morey would have used "waived and stretch out" provision to take them out.
I believe it’s a serious question. Thread that has been posted before. Can Harden and CP3 coexist with a third star? Harden needs a high usage to stay sharp. A Ty Lawson needed a higher usage to get in a grove. Melo needed a higher usage to get in a grove. Every star needs the ball in their hands in order to do well.....with maybe Paul George being the exception. Can you win with 2 stars in this league? If not, can the Rockets win with Harden?.....if he can’t coexist with a 3rd star. Take Melo out of the equation since people like Corrosion will easily discard them as washed up. Enter a popular star in his place. If only an iso player can coexist with CP3/Harden.....will it reduce Hardens usage.......and thus his FG%? Too much?
