I wouldn't have foreseen our fortunes turning this bad after a great yesterday. I hate how cursed this season is.
The 2 Points they stole from us .. . . from the end of the Third That was the difference Rocket River
Capela is more overpaid than CP. and Capela doesn’t have the injuries or old man excuse, just pathetic man excuse
Capela got paid and hit his ceiling. He just doesn't have the fire like a DeAndre Jordan who will slamdunk any putbacks. We always see Capela doing a soft layup that misses or gets rejected on putbacks. Also his endurance is garbage. He gets gassed so easily, even moreso than Harden and Harden has asthma!
We also was getting mugged in the lane with no calls For a team like Miami . . .that was all they needed to know Rocket River
And the alley oop can’t be from CP or anyone else, only harden..maybe every one in 10 games from GG also
Supposedly an open look, but it was poor execution on Harden's part for running the ball toward EG pulling Wade for a decent contest. Wasn't as open to me as I thought it was going to be in real-time. Looks like Harden's left eyebrow got a juicy welt - sucks. Pre-head bump, Harden was passive and did not attack, and his 3rd qtr defense sucked. Hated that he just gave the ball over to our guards to initiate some offense. High usage and what have you, in order to get his teammates involved he has to be the one initiating the play. Clint was just terrible tonight. Always out of position. Greg called him out saying that we haven't seen Clint fly in for a rebound like we used to see last year. This year Clint has been disappointing - not as focused or undisciplined. The officiating was slightly siding the Heat with a couple no-calls against us, particularly on our drives. The announcing was spot-on in their analysis, taking the bias away when comparing Wade's ability to draw foul vs. Harden's. This game was hard to watch. House and green didn't get nearly the same amount of quality shots up in the 2nd half largely because Harden didn't initiate for majority of the quarter. I hated seeing his passiveness. Now, he's got a legit injury that he can hide behind. Unfortunately, we only have him to rely on. Without him initiating, we're basically forced to play like this Heat team.
Gordon's was the dumbest one of the 2. He only had to stand his ground and put his hands in the air..... but he had to jump like an idiot.
Gordon actually played decent. Their zone ****ed our drives, plus they just block us on every layup anyway I thought this was really winnable, we missed so many open threes given to us from the zone.
any hammy injury is easily 2 weeks+ Seriously, I don't blame Cp3 for taking that money because anyone would but Morey is a dumbass for offering it to him.
Miami's 3rd in the league in offensive rebound %. This really was a nightmare matchup, though it would probably have still been a W with CP3 and not a back-to-back scenario
This is why cp3 is important to this team. He might be having a crap year stats wise but his playmaking, leadership and defense put us in a good spot to win games for us. I know we overpaid him but everyone team has overpaid players.
