Again, your defense holds zero weight. It is weak, lazy, and flat out wrong. The investigation is not solely because Russia was involved, or that China has done some manipulation. Or that even we do. The investigation is because of a campaign that was WORKING WITH an enemy of the state.

Take out the names completely. Take out the political party completely. If any politician is working with a foreign government whose intent is to weaken the USA, can you at least agree that this is BAD. And that any such politician should be punished appropriately?

Is that really too hard to comprehend?

Maybe his meta-cognition got a bump and now he can admit 20 years later that he might have been wrong?

I'll put it this way, change the party of those involved and you'd hear MUCH different opinions from most on this board. I know this because I'm old enough to remember when there was a much smaller investigation into a former president during his presidency that didn't involve corruption in the FBI to get it started.

If the right did the same with Obama, which they didn't, you'd have half this board calling the investigation racist. You had them upset enough about baseless allegations that had very little support when it came to the birther nonsense. If you had a rogue special investigator looking into everyone around the president trying to find any kind of crime they could try and use to leverage against the president, we'd probably have had this board calling for that investigator's head.

As to this investigation, it has yet to uncover anything serious against the president and only a few unrelated crimes to people around the president....but you still have people supporting it because they hope one day something comes of it no matter how long it takes. They just want a way to undo the last presidential election because it has caused a pathological condition with many of our friends on the left.

Bobby, Bobby, Bobby. The President has already been implicated. If you’re hanging your hat on his not being charged with anything at this time and speaking to the pathology of the left, it just comes across as trite. Wish on it all you want as you’re really no different in your own pathology.

Implicated in what? A really weak campaign finance violation? LOL, again I said "anything serious" and paying off a w**** for an NDA doesn't qualify as "serious"

Blah... some ppl just have too much damn time. Let the investigation finish.

Go workout, build something, read a good book. There are a lot of possibilities.

We need a special council to investigate the special council at some point. Strozck needs 14 days in jail like papadopoulos.

So... the appointed DOJ officials (trump-appointed?) and the advisers that whitaker identified advised him that while the "close call" and "appearance of conflict" wasn't important enough to recommend recusal or even to seek a formal ruling by the Ethics Office... even though anything that he says or does with regard to the Mueller investigation (including the sharing of information back to the president) would cast doubt on him and his handling of the investigation of the sitting president.

Prepare for an onslayght of anti-Mueller leaks and tweets as Whitaker starts "overseeing" the investigation. Our saving gace is the general ineptitude of this administration's cabinet appointees.
