I'm glad he saw the error of his ways, but the dude is an idiot. I'm not sure I want him on my side.

...sometimes you take what you can get...

...or in the president's case, you'll take whatever you can get away with...

Supposedly that it wouldn't happen since Mexico wasn't going to pay for it, according to himself.

Much like the WalkAway posts, it makes zero sense. People just blindly vote for the same party never realizing how the parties change or how their own views are changing. They also too often make their decisions based on the idea of low tax low government Republicans vs high tax high government Democrats.

It is somewhat amusing that he just dismissed it as political bluster. I can understand why though, politicians usually never even try to get through their campaign promises, lol.

Usually they only meet whatever aligns with their normal non-campaign ideals and say stuff to get elected.

Sounds a lot like those pro-Brexit voters who'd later say they voted for it because they didn't think it would pass, or that they didn't understand how much trouble it would turn out to be. To Trump's credit, there are Americans who will defend his every move even though they say they didn't vote for him. You don't really hear anybody say they voted against Brexit but they're now glad it passed.
