Not much you can do when a free blitz comes up the middle.

Roll him out, run a screen, do something to help this guy, as he is not all that good at reading defenses at this point in his development.

Can we never audible to a quick slant when we see a blitz coming ...like geez and throw ball away..a 35yrd FG turned into 49yrd

 

This is where u missed Fuller........you would max protect and throw deep to Fuller.

 

Watson and butt chin are having a bad game. They should know by now what the Jets are doing out there. The offense is extremely easy and predictable right now for the Jets.

 

Run a quick slant then. FFS!

 

That's what can happen when the blitz is coming and the blocking scheme isn't correct to pick it up. It's the QB's job to call out the blitz and adjust the blocking scheme along with setting up a hot route to get rid of the ball quickly. At some point I expect Watson to be able to do that, but right now, he's kind of terrible at it.

 

Jets look like the playoff team.

 

If you can run the ball....they are going to tee off with blitzes.

 

Defense has to step it up; a turn over would be nice.

 

I keep seeing out routes but the middle of the field is open on those blitz. The whole team has to read the blitz. Blue should not turn his back on any of these short routes. Make yourself available at the snap.

 

Most of those are very much on the QB, recognition pre snap, quicker diagnosis after and not trying to make a hero play even though he has the ability to.

 

I wake up to a low scoring 1 pt game against the damn Jets and 5 fantasy pts from Watson. Wtf is this bs

 

And OB has to get some 3 step drops, roll outs called to get ball out faster
