Are we going to ignore that Harden's MidRange TurnAround Jumper is unstoppable?

    OK. . . So I might be soundling like a uberfan
    but
    Harden can run every Rocket Offense
    Harden could play Hakeem's role and be surrounded by 4 shooters
    Harden could play Stevie Franchise's role on Drive and Kick
    I think he could even do 7 seconds or less Nash

    Offense should NEVER be a problem for this team

    Morey has to modify his numbers for personell
    His numbers are not player specific enough

    For like 75% of our team . . . .. (60% when on the floor)
    yea. . .THEY SHOULD PROBABLY TAKE 3's over long 2's
    but
    This team/coach/players have to make exceptions

    This is like the Run N Shoot. . . . .. .. When you on the 2 yd line. . .Get a f*Cking TightEnd!
    When the 3's are not falling. . . midrange them to death

    Like a Righty turning south paw in the 12th
    The Rockets might need to switch to the Hakeem inside out offense in the 4th . . . . just to throw off the opponents
    With Harden at the middle

    he’s such a generational talent offensively...it sucks that he’s essentially abandoned his midrange game as I think it would come in handy when he’s having 1 of those 2-12 or 4-13 type of nights from 3, and it’s also a great shot to use in clutch time instead of always settling for the highly contested stepback three

    with Harden, u are pretty much guaranteed to have at least a top 10 offense...whenever the team defense has been really good as well it has resulted in trips to the WCF

    The real question is... is HE going to ignore that his turn around jumper is unstoppable. His mid range game used to be a big part of what made him unguardable. With CP3 struggling we need this component of his game to come back.

    Hakeem taught him that spin move step back out of the post. Unstoppable! He forgot all about that move.

    Yeah Chris Paul's midrange has vanished this year. and It sucks. We Need Harden's back it was literally unguardable. Now That teams are expecting a 3 pointer or a drive. That Mid range is even more wide open than before.

    This is what I've been SAYING.

    Not only would re-implementing his mid-range game (especially from the post) elevate his efficiency overall, it makes him DRAMATICALLY more lethal in the clutch.

    Do it James. DO IT.

    well...Nothing will reduce your free throw attempts per shot faster than shooting turnaround jumpers.

    Maybe Silver is negotiating with Harden to shoot more turnarounds.

    I dunno . .. . after Harden has busted in their face 2~3 times. . .they will try to crowd his space like they do on 3 pointers
    then
    THEY WOULD PRIMED FOR THE UP AND UNDER!!

    I can see it down

    CP3 in the Corner with the Rock . . .making an Entry Pass to Harden on the block.
    Capela on the other side of the lane DARING his man to leave him to do the Double team
    Tucker in the Opposite Corner
    EGO/HOUSE/GREEN/WHOEVER at the top of the Arc

    This would help the offensive rebounding too

    Or in simple terms, mix it up. Don't be so rigid and predictable. The opponent shouldn't know whether you are going to switch on defense or not. The opponent shouldn't know if you are going to shoot midrange shots or not.

    Let's turn off Daryls computer for a while. His models aren't working for this team. Damn- I may be turning in to Charles Barkley.

    So who's going to break it to everyone that Harden has always been average in mid range?

    The day Harden stops going to the line 10 times is the day his days as a franchise player are over. It's the only thing making up for his defense.
