And if they're smart, they will reverse their mistake. Much like we'll do in 2020 here in the US.

    May is out of options.
Bring it for voting-> guarantee it will fail
Go ask for no backstop -> guarantee it will fail

I wonder when DUP will decide to straight up dump her and party up with Labour to depose her.

There's not enough time for a 2nd referendum unless they postpone Brexit. It will take 22 weeks at least to prepare with their legislation.

I assume no deal “Bexit” is like a no deal NAFTA — reverting the previous sets of laws.

You guys are so much smarter and moral than everyone. Too bad countries don't just dismiss their election results and follow your direct orders. :(

They can continue current no tariff barriers under WTO rules. During this time they can work out a FTA.

The no deal brexit is dead.
The final vote is next week and it has become an absolute mess. May outright admitted that her deal wont pass and has caused cross party cooperation to block a no deal outcome.
First yesterday she has become the first PM in 41 years to lose a government vote over on a finance bill. Next today again with cross party cooperation and without any precedence they ammended a bill that forces her if her deal doesnt pass within 3 days to put on the table another deal.
So the no deal brexit is now not an option.
No idea what happens next but it looks very likely that they will have to postpone article 50.( Day of brexit).

Well that's good news for the EU and bad news for the UK. The UK government is dead set on being a vassal nation of the EU no matter what their people say about it.

It'd sever a lot of business strategies at the waist to exit without a deal. I can be cavalier about it as an American, but it is pretty obvious they'd be shooting themselves in the face to do that.

It wouldn't be the best situation, but it wouldn't be as dire as remainers want to make it seem and honestly it's infinitely better than going with the Theresa May deal that makes the UK a vassal of the EU she should be charged with treason for even suggesting that plan.

If they went no-deal Brexit, it would mean that they'd fall back on the WTO rules until they got individual deals worked out and when those deals got worked out, they'd likely be pretty decent. The only real loser in a no-deal Brexit would be the EU, which could collapse as taxes would have to go up on every other country to make up for the UK's absence and that could entice other countries to follow the UK's lead.

Is Texas a vessel state of the US? In order to be part of a larger economic bloc, Texas bends the knee... big whoop.

The Brexiters ran on emotion and emotion doesn’t produce deals. Where’s the original outspoken Brexiters legislatures? No one is stepping up from that camp because Brexit was an ill conceived political ploy.

I mean the proof is in the pudding.... none of the original Brexiters stood up and took charge. It was very easy campaigning on Brexit using a lot of emotion and nostalgia....

It was an emotional idea and not a pragmatic one which is why it was doomed from the start.

This has always been the likely endgame. There's no "good" ways to do Brexit - anyone with any sense could see it, but they couldn't and thus had to go thru this process. Their only real way out is a 2nd referendum, and Brexit will get obliterated if they go that route. Both the US and UK went mentally insane in 2015-2016 and tried to destroy themselves. Both will correct it the next time they get a chance.

The globalists underestimated the desire among the citizens for the UK to remain a sovereign nation and that's why Brexit happened in the first place. IMO they are making that same mistake again.

I don't think you know how party leadership elections work and have them confused with a coup d'etat from your studies of socialist utopias.

89 days until Brexit. Hopefully without delay, and at this point, with no deal.
