He’s a gifted scorer, but he doesn’t care about playing a lick of defense. He said as much in an interview in the offseason.

Apparently that scrub Jabari Parker got a 2 yr, $40M contract last offseason - highest paid player on the team lol

Fair point and I get it: our forwards have had a miserable year defensively and this would potentially make matters worse.

But via buyout? I’m at least kicking the tires. It sounds like things are quickly escalating and it might come to that.

We have shown interest recently in the off season.

Is Brandon Knight really better than Ryan Anderson?I know he is 5 million cheaper. But some game Ryan Anderson can stretch game and shoot three.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope could be Brandon Knight situation. Be very cautious to get him.

It's hard to stretch game and shoot three if you rack up DNPs

I thought he had a nice 3. Seems to take the pass and go up in-rhythm well. Defensively, he wasn't as imposing on Harden as what we need in a wing.

Yes he was doing wonders on the bench. Did you see him in the playoffs?. Brilliant.

Our GM and superstar seem to match that way.

I was simply pointing out where the garbage tag comes from. Parker’s game on both ends is similar to a young Melo.

All that said, the Rockets need depth and bench production, so if the cost was next to nothing, it would be a decent gamble.

    He's trash. Small and streaky.
Still an upgrade over Ennis but i'm so sick of thiese rail thin 6'5 wing. We need a legit 6'8/6'9 wing man to replace the void that Ariza left behind.

I don't know much about the guy
so I wanted to see what his stats were

I think that is what we should be looking at
and drag this thread back to keep an eye on the prize so to speak
    and
see if it is worth it

To be fair, I don't know how much focus is lost when you could soon be traded. EGO had his head up his *** for a while (maybe it's still up there, I don't know), wondering if his name was legally going to be changed to Jimmy Butler.

But House looks ready to take those minutes at a fraction of the cost. Unless we really need that expiring contract of KCP to flip elsewhere.
