I just don’t see Miami trading away Winslow I think he is a player rockets fans need to take off their radar, he is set to receive 13million per year for the next 3yrs, that is absolutely a beautiful contract that Miami if they are smart should not just throw away to remove themselves from having to pay the tax. The deal you proposed sounds absolutely great for the rockets but Miami is not taking that deal which would be horrible for them. I think if you subtract Winslow and add Johnson then Miami would maybe consider the offer, but asking that team that already has over 40mil committed to the guard position to take 2 more guards that would add close to 30mil to that same position sounds crazy to me and I’m just a fan. I’m sure pat riley is smarter than that.

Whiteside is a sneaky buyout candidate if Miami is reluctant to add an asset(Not Winslow) to the deal

He's owed 27 million next season. He won't take a nickel less than 25.

It can help us a bit, but a good wing player and a solid backup PG is needed.

I'm not sure. 16.8 mins with 2.1 rebounds is not encouraging. He played badly against the C's recently.
    2 points and 2 rebounds.

Exactly! We keep falling for it over and over again. The opponent literally gets to dictate who is matched up on their offensive players and where the matchup is going to take place. So they keep choosing Capela vs a guard on the 3 point line.

That's exactly what I would do vs the Rockets too. We have to be smarter than that. Capela belongs in the paint to intimidate, block and rebound. The second he gets drawn out to the 3 point line his advantages are nullified.

This is good news. Sounds like the Rockets are going to mix up their defense and not go FULL SWITCHING. Earn that money Bzdelik!

“We’re going to keep trying different things on different nights,” guard Chris Paul said. “Obviously, we know switching is our bread and butter, but just throwing different schemes at teams (to) keep them off-balance.”

Defense and rebounding is atrocious. A collective effort has to be made. There is no one available to help us out.

Looks like they are trying some different things to keep their bigs back to improve the rebounding.

They can't do anything with the current cast. They need a 6'10" 250 Power Forward that can rebound and work the post.
