How do we reuse an asset acquired now at the trade deadline? [aside from on its own]

I don't either. I seriously doubt Davis moves at the deadline. But...................if he does...........................we're the first team in line. We've got better assets than the Lakers do....and armed with KCP.....we could swallow Hill up for them.....something the Lakers cannot do......and Boston can't deal for him right now....and they're facing their own problems come the offseason with Rozier being a FA and Kyrie being a FA......and their picks somewhat depleted if they get through the draft.....

Boston has to make moves now realistically to be able to make those draft picks retain value after the deadline. I have no idea what they are going to do. But they've realistically got to make a decision on Rozier.

If we don't get AD at the deadline and nothing else materializes of substance...we can dump KCP along with a pick to Sacramento....get back a nice TPE to still take on Hill in an AD trade over the summer....and we've still got our assets....EGo on an expiring deal...and Capela or whatever assets we trade him for....available to put together a deal for AD that will beat the Lakers and pobably rival what the Celtics can put together. Celts will have a difficult time turning Smart into a first.

Dealing for KCP is about the contract flexiiblity.

I can see us piecing together Melo/Chriss/Nene/Ennis for KCP before I could see us giving up a pick for him.

I hope you are right, but the reality is that the Rockets have been trying to move him for months and not have been able to do so, and it isn't because Daryl Morey thinks he is a great player.

The noise coming out is "Well he has tried", "He is trying"......... at some point I become skeptical..... If I am a betting man (and sadly I am), my belief is that moving Knight will take closer to two #1's than a single #1..... as I said I would gladly be wrong.

Also, other than the "He is trying" crap I have heard for a month, this is just my opinion, not anything I have heard.

What context do you need? The Lakers are a better damn team than the Rockets at this point. He's in a better spot.

I completely agree that KCP is about the contract flexibility and not the player.

I don't know about cobbling together that group for KCP but I do think people are over looking that pieces like Melo, Chriss and possibly Nene are likely moved for end of rotation pieces...... Chriss especially should bring a rotation piece.

Read my posts. Take on Hill to get AD.....Move KCP at the deadline to SAC for a $12 million TPE and luxury tax savings.....all sorts of options when it comes to acquiring a poison pill player like Winslow..it just opens up a lot of options.

6 ft 5 in / Avg 2.3 RPG. Not sure if he can help us or what. Would rather steal the Ariza from Lakers.

I don't know that we will be able to execute it, but yes it opens up a lot of options by making our assets liquidity increase.... which in turn means we likely get better pieces...... there are just a lot of steps to pull off to make it all work.

Yeah, they are better at this point. But he's not playing a regular rotation role. He's fine when he's out there with LBJ, Kuz, etc. But you take away LBJ and KUZ and run Lance and Lonzo out there it gets dicey.

Ennis wouldn't even get off the bench with the Lakers. KCP is the better player.

Didn't we just pass the deadline date for acquiring a player who can be dealt at the trade deadline?

Didn't see post; however, chess is chess is...not checkers. Ennis and KCP are playing on different teams with different styles, dynamics and so forth. The chess game has to identify who fits in @TheToyShop best.

Frankly, I know the answer not.

I actually agree. He doesn’t move like he used to and isn’t a great finisher. The only thing I’ve heard the team missed is his ability to switch and his IQ

No because technically he doesn't have three names.
